hey brenda... well, i went to mexicali this weekend, had my follow up. i drove up to the boarder, walked across, then walked back out of mexico. no biggie at all. safe, sane, and worry free... nothing like the tijuana border crossing, that's for sure! at any rate, i'm sorry your family isn't being cool about your driving... are you still planning on going? i know they do a pick up AND return to the airport once a month, so maybe they can work that out for you? already got my results, all is well. yahoo!

Hey Brenda! I'm doing pretty well. Still struggling back and forth with hunger, and trying to get everything calmed down in that regard. I just finished my antibiotic treatment for the H.Pylori, so hopefully that will help a bit. Some days I feel famished others I feel nothing the entire day. It is truly odd. Nonetheless, I hope to get where you're at, very soon! best!

where are you heading out to on a road trip?! sounds like a great time... my road trip almost every summer is to drive up to washington. i try different routes from here (Vegas) to there, and it's a fun time. i will most definitely let you know when i'll be up there and we should do a "sleever" lunch

hey phatman... thanks for checking in! i often forget to check this page, so i apologize for the delay (same to mom of 4). i am going pretty well. my only bummer at the moment is that i am in a stall already. have been stuck at 187-188 for a couple of weeks. not sure what i can/should do to get a jump start... i think i just need to let my body (and mind) adjust. am down one pants size so far, which is good. when is your sleeve, and how are you? i've been really busy with work, so it's been hard to get back on here... but i'll be check in more, now that things have slowed down.

Hi Rob! Thank you for your kind words, prayers, and encouragement. I made it through, and am back home in RAINY Las Vegas! I'm glad to be home, but I know this is when the hard part starts! everything has gone as well as can be expected, minus my vomiting everytime I've taken the Nexium. This is, I believe, because the doc wants it to be dissolved before taken, and it just won't settle. Asked them if I can just take it whole today, and they told me to switch to Prilosec or Prevacid, a much smaller tablet that they said I can swallow whole... So, that's the update with me. Heading out to the store to pick up sugar free popsicles and liquid benadryl. Had a slight allergic reaction to some of the tape, so will cure that with the allergy med I hope. Hi LAN! Made it through 100%, am back home and trying to relax and get in the swing of things. Weighed myself this morning, I'm at 199. This is either a digital error or a miracle? I just received that book we talked about, so I'm going to start reading it tonight. Will let you know what I think. Still sore, but I'm getting through everything...

Hi Oregon Rose... No decisions yet. I must say, I have been rather overwhelmed with the data collection, research, etc, as of late. Thank you SO much for taking the time to email me, and check up. I may be getting in touch with your docs, just to feel that situation out. It's not looking like I'll find someone acceptable here in town... I'll keep you posted!
