    Dizzy and weak

I got really dizzy when standing once I went back to work. I think it was slight vertigo from being horizontal a lot during recovery! I never asked my doc about it but my calories are good so idk?

    Any Philadelphia Sleevers

Today is exactly 1 month post op for me and I'm down 28.8 pounds. Feeling great and almost 100% except for a strained stomach muscle from a fender bender last week!

    Any Philadelphia Sleevers

Get gas x chewables!!!! They work wonders! And sit on the toilet and rock front to back! Helps wiggle it out!

    Any Philadelphia Sleevers

I was sleeved 10/20 at the Barix Clinic in Langhorne, PA! I chose to go there bc I heard good things even though it's a bit of a hike from my house in Philly! They were great! Although when they were making me get up and do laps after surgery I didn't think so!!! ???? lol. Very good experience there!

    Stinging Pain in Bending

I have this pain too but it's severe! Like stop in your tracks and yelp severe! I was going to call my doctor tomorrow to see if I should be checked out! I was also in a car accident last saturday (just a fender bender) and i thought maybe it was from the seat belt. My pain is exactly how you described it though! It keeps me awake at night too! Help!

    Feeling regret...

Your post could literally have been from me. I was sleeved 10/20 and every single thing you said, i felt! I was so bored of being cooped up that all i could think about was pizza, cheeseburgers, and french fries. The cravings were so hard. I also felt like nothing could ever be normal. I wouldnt be able to go out with friends etc. I turned a corner a little when i started looking up recipes for the next stage. I started realizing it was totally possible to make a meal that both my husband and myself could enjoy! I'm currently in my soft foods stage. My nut said anything I dont need teeth for. So the other night i made home made turkey meatballs. Just added spaghetti for my husband! I was able to eat two small meatballs and then I was totally satisfied and my husband loved them! It helps the mind to find things you can make that wont feel like your depriving yourself! Check out pinterest! I find tons of sleeve recipes on there! Also find a hobby! Something you can do to keep your mind busy while youre stuck inside staring at the walls! I worked on crafty xmas gifts! Just something to keep my mind off all the gross food i wished i could eat! good luck!

    Newbie looking for Oct sleevers!

The doctor called it dermabond I think? Is it safe to put benadryl cream on even though my incisions aren't completely healed?

    Newbie looking for Oct sleevers!

I was sleeved October 20th! HELP! The itching around the glue stuff is driving me NUTS!!!!!! What can I do to help it!? I know it's from the healing process but I can't stand not being able to itch!
  14. I read that you will get drunk much faster with the sleeve because you don't have a big stomach with lots of food in it to soak up the alcohol. The liquid goes right through your stomach into your intestines and into your blood stream faster! Just be careful the first time you do drink in case that happens! Make sure you're with someone you trust! Better to be safe then sorry!
