  1. So I am almost a year out from surgery and have lost almost a total of 80 plus pounds but I often feel fat even though I am down a significant amount of weight. Has anyone else felt this way and if so how are you coping with it?
  2. I am in the same boat as you are. I am two months out from my surgery and I have lost 67 lbs. This number is great but I think I am in a plateau right now. I wish the weight would come off faster but I know in time it will. Keep thinking positive thoughts and the weight will come off. Just think Protein, protein, protein!
  3. I am three weeks out from surgery today and I have started to eat soft solids. I am trying to eat scrambled eggs this morning and I have major discomfort. I have eaten very slowly and still have pain. It feels like the food is backing up in my throat. Will this pass or am I doing something wrong?
  4. Lots of gas. I am getting my fluids via Popsicles, jello and started cream based soups and cream of wheat thinned out today. Just thought it would have been a little easier getting the fluids. I know that I am not getting the 50-60 oz that I'm supposed to be. What are you doing that is working?
  5. No hot flashes. I am very cold now since surgery which is odd for me since I was always hot.
  6. I am on the liquid diet and have been able to consume about the same 2-3 oz. I can really feel when my stomach is full. It's just been really hard consuming the other daily requirements. Are you drinking any Protein shakes? I'm not but have a post op visit tomorrow and will find out how I'm doing.
  7. I am 5 days out from my surgery and I am still having a lot of pain and gas. Is this normal and if so when will it subside? I am also having a lot of issues consuming the amount of fluid that I'm supposed to in my total day. Please help!
