  1. Just go online, find a monthly calendar, print out the months you need. Then research high protein/low carb diets. pretty easy
  2. I feel like there are so many people ready to judge here, yes OP put herself out there, but statistically, affairs happen, even in what appears to be a great marriage. How about some compassion, rather than being catty? It is pretty common for someone who has been lonely for a long time, to enjoy some outside attention, makes you feel human. I have seen it in many of my close friend's and family's relationships, and also in my own 17 year marriage. I have a wonderful husband, he works hard, supports me 100% in whatever I want to do..but falls short on the little things, birthdays, holidays, daily things, helping around the house, etc., and they add up. At some point, you have to decide what you can and cannot live with. OP, do what you need to do for yourself, but don't go so far as to hurt your spouse, or end up the other woman. Good luck!
  3. A good friend of mine who was sleeved suggested making crystal light ice cubes, putting them in a baggie, and crushing them, then chewing on those. Helps you satisfy your desire to chew, and helps get fluids in!
  4. I follow VSG Kirk on you tube. He is my fave. Also rasha pecorino, she is kinda annoying, but informative.
  5. Regardless of what anyone says, you are going to do what you want to do. I caution you to be careful, friendships with the best intentions can easily slip into something else. I am not here to judge you. if you are unhappy, sep from your husband for a trial, continue therapy, and see if that is what both of you really want.
  6. I was told by my Nut, fitness chick, and the psych, that energy stores get depleated until we are able to get all of our nutritional needs met. The exhauation will pass. Keep on getting in your protein, and water!
  7. Is there something going on with BP? I cannot reply to posts.
  8. Is she handicapped in some way? That sounds like very odd things to say, to anyone.

  16. Yes, my doc wanted me to lose 15 pounds. Normally, I can drop that no problem, however, in the last year I have had a baby, breastfed, had pneumonia, and just got over bronchitis..was given prednisone, which makes me gain. I haven't gained, but only lost 3 pounds. They approved me for surgery anyways, probably because of the steroid.
  17. I need that for my mom! Hahahah. I can't stop laughing!
  18. I am having mine at Puget Sound Bariatrics Feb 18, with Dr. Landerholm.
  19. Thank you so much! I have no idea how I am going to contain my neevous energy for the next 3+ weeks.
  20. I am also scheduled for Feb 18! I am so ready for this. My ducks are pretty much lined up, start my pre-op liver shrink on the 4th. I cannot wait to be on the losers bench!
  21. This is obviously very important to you. If I felt it necessary to cite specific details, or if I was writing an essay, I would contact the physicians, patients, pharmacists, small business owners, etc, I know, that this has affected. In addition to that, I would research the policies, I just do not care enough to do that. I know that obamacare has helped some people, but it is restricting some from quality healthcare. In otherwords, many doctor's offices, urgent cares, and pharmacies, do not accept it. I do not frequent CVS, or Walgreens, mostly because they are so impersonal. I mean no disrespect to you at all, this is just my feeling, based on my experience with it, through a few doctors, patients, etc.
  22. Thanks, that wasn't opinion, it's a fact. I personally know of a well respected pharm that was closed due largely in part to the effects of Obamacare, but good for you for defending it. I am not one to spew unsupported opinions. I also know several people who have to use Obamacare due to employers not offering insurance, and ALL of them (even the obama supporters) say it is crap insurance. Maybe it needs time to iron out the defects. Personally, I wouldn't purchase it, defects or no defects. I am blessed with amazing insurance. Healthcare cost is ridiculous in and of itself.
  23. Obamacare is killing the little guys. It may give people mediocre care, but it's destroying the mom & pop pharmacies, that treat their patients like real people, rather than a number.
