    Originally had lap-band surgery in September of 2014. The band did not work for me and ended up damaging my esophagus. I had the band removed in June of 2017. After 6 months of healing, I had gastric bypass in February of 2018.

    I had surgery last Wednesday as well and just saw my doctor today. He said it is totally normal to still feel bloated which I am. Also, my port is located on the right side and the area is very tender and he said that is normal as it is still healing. I am back to work tomorrow. Good luck in your recovery!
