cdenney123 got a reaction from nataliearias in Has anyone become single as a result of their weight loss surgery?
Well it happend to me this week my boyfriend of a year and a half broke up and its only been 4 weeks since my surgery. Bascially he said I was going to get skinny and leave him so he decided to do it now and not later. I was so mad since he was my supporter in all this. Now Its back to online dating I guess ugh so frustrating. But at least now I can start all over with someone new

cdenney123 got a reaction from JustWatchMe in At what age would you have Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) if you had a do-over?
I would have liked to have had it done 10 years ago as I was struggling to lose weight and tried it all from exercise to weight watchers to diet pills. But, timing is everything and there is a reason why now and not then.

cdenney123 got a reaction from ashsleeved in Welcome to the BariatricPal Singles Forum!
I do like this idea since dating is already hard enough then throw the WLS in the mix its pretty much impossible. I really have a hard time telling anyone that I even had it done.

cdenney123 got a reaction from Aliyah14 in Heading back to ER again, prayers please
Glad your getting help for this now. Question was this all from the sleeve surgery? Or was this an on going issues that happend after the sleeve?

cdenney123 reacted to Debbieduck4 in No BM in two weeks?
This was a real problem for me too at first... I tried so many things, ex-lax, Miralax, milk of magnesia, taking a stool softener once a day (then twice a day), I used suppositories, and even enemas at times I was so dang stopped up for the first 2 months!! Then I discovered Smooth Move tea. It is sold at just regular grocery stores in the tea aisle. I now drink a cup about twice a week if I need to and me and my movements are much happier Get some, save yourself the research... I already did it for you. Trust me on this. LOL

cdenney123 got a reaction from Elode in How long did your hair fall out?
Mine just started falling out about 4 months out its been about 3 weeks of when I play with my hair, comb it or even just look at my shirt I see my hair falling out. I already have thin hair so its concerning, but I knew this could be a side effect.

cdenney123 got a reaction from Alex Brecher in Have you faced divorce?
Thank you @@lisacaron for that it was very inspirational. I went through a divorce in early 2013 because he was cheating on me as well. I lost 20 pounds and was almost at goal then between 2013 and 2014 I gained 60 plus pounds from emotionally eating and feeling really alone. I agree with you that a man will love you no matter what, but its hard to believe when you dont even love yourself, and thats where I realized I needed WLS help and meds.. Im feeling so much better about myself and believe I deserve a good man this time around.

cdenney123 got a reaction from BeagleLover in Feeding Your Family while you can't eat?
I cook for my daughter and what I do is eat my little meal first which is Soup or something small then make her dinner. Honestly you cant eat much anyway so even if you took a bite or 2 you will be full. I can only eat 2 tablespoons of anything then stuffed. So no temptation at all

cdenney123 got a reaction from Chrystee in Do you notice how much others eat?
This is so funny you started this I was thinking the same thing. I was at a thanksgiving dinner and everyone had their plates mounded with food while I have a little bowl of Soup. I was still sipping my Soup and they were all done and feeling horrible because they ate too much. That is what im happy about I dont ever want that again.. In general when I go out Im still shocked how much they eat because again im sipping soup..
