    Gall bladder?

Had it out afterwards. Got gallstones. No fun.
  4. I stopped for a long time. coffee drinks were one of the main ways I ate my calories and sugar pre surgery. Huge white chocolate mochas daily. It was great to kick that habit. I now drink about 1/2 cup of coffee with cream and Splenda in the morning and the occasional iced Americano with Splenda. I'll never go back to my old ways. I'm over 1 year out. Looks like I have to stop now if I have gerd.

    LOSING TOO MUCH WEIGHT!

Your not eating enough calories by a long shot. You'll likely need around 2000, as much as 2500+ if your running. Everyone's metabolism is different. You need to raise your calories by 100 or so a week until your loss stops. We are so used to dieting and being told to eat less and as little as possible to lose weight- it's hard to wrap your head around that most people eat around 2000 calories and that is regular thin people! Athletes eat even more. You have to shift your perception of yourself as a dieter to that of an athlete if you are running 6 days a week. I agree, don't stop running. Eat more if you can. Technically your at a healthy weight still for now but I agree you need to slow it down. I'm sure you look great. You've lost an incredible amount of weight and you should be so proud!!!

    Burning sensation

Yikes. I'm debating going to the er. My insurance won't cover a walk in clinic. It's really hurting and I've had no relief with Zantac, tums or Prilosec. It almost feels like something is stuck in my upper chest (

    Burning sensation

It's still going and it feels like esophageal spasms. I feel like I have a burning hole in my esophagus and it keeps cramping. Worried. My surgeon is in another town but I'll call him today for sure.

    Today's WIN!

My family and I went for a 2.5 mile "hike". At the end they were all tired and saying how that was a lot of exercise and they deserved and needed a big dinner. They were saying how far we had all walked. I was like, um... What walk? That was a leisurely stroll for me. I could have easily run that distance and barely been tired. I wasn't out of breath once! That was a tiny little bit of walking to me!!! Hahahaha. Gosh amazing. I would barley have been able to do that without crying a little over a year ago. My legs would have been shaking.
  14. Really beautiful both before and after! Smokin hot!!

    Husband not supportive

Mine was totally dead set against it. He said he would leave me if I did it. Guess what I did? I left him. In addition he was highly abusive to me about my weight. Now I'm skinny, and he pines for me. Too bad.

Was it worth it Pro's and Cons

My goodness @valentina. What a thing to go through. My heart huts for you but I am so impressed by your strength. You're right, it was not your fault. Suicide can only be the voice of the person who takes that route. You deserve a full, happy and healthy life.

    Sleeve and sushi?

It took me quite some time to be able to eat sushi, but I can now as long as I'm careful. I eat sashimi mainly. Cucumber salad, sashimi, and maybe 1-2 pieces of a roll. Be careful with the rice. I find I do best with brown rice. I don't do the miso because it's a liquid. Enjoy! Sushi is great for you.

    small complaint about my body

The BMI chart has been largely thrown out by medical professionals. The fact is you did this to feel and look good and be healthier. If you feel good, if your blood work comes back great... I'd say it's up to you what you should weight. I have a friend with a large frame. At 5'8 at 150 you could count her ribs. She settled at 175 and looks beautiful. I bet you look great too and I very much doubt you look like a Russian beat farmer!!
  20. Anne you are welcome to pm me. I am struggling with this as well. Some people on here have been extremely rude to me, even saying that I'm obsessed with myself and flaunting my weight loss- so I can definitely identify with the lack of support on a forum where many people are still struggling to lose weight and or keep it off. There are also a lot of kind and supportive people on here so that's why I keep coming back. I've noticed a lot more posts lately from people struggling with too much weight loss and I'm pretty sure it's a common problem. I think people on here are afraid to talk about it for fear of skinny shaming or lack of understanding. Many people on here still in the process just can't wrap their heads around being TOO thin. Well they may be in for a surprise. Maintaining weight after surgery is a huge struggle for me. Pm me all you want.

    Dumping Syndrome

Ummmm. I'm sorry you're feeling this way but if all you can eat is chocolate it's doubtful you have dumping!!! Dumping is usually due to fat and sugar combinations. It doesn't cause pain. You seem to be eating a lot of carbs. Cream of wheat is all carb. If you're gaining weight I'd look to that. Stay away from chocolate for sure. Hope you figure it out and feel better soon.
