wow sounds good..ur losing a good amount of weight already! unfortunately im stuck and gained weight to.. im back to eating normal just really needing my fill i have to wait for 2 more weeks i dont kno why i have to wait that long

im 2 weeks after my post OP i only lost 3-4kgs .. but then again my weight was only 77kg now im around 73kg .. i think it may be harder for me to lose because im not that heavy to begin with..

im exactly 2 weeks after my OP i was banded on 9th oct i had solids 5days later but slowly n chewing everything thoroughly, was gettin heaps of heart burn while eating so i ate very less n alternate from solids to my shakes. but now i can eat solids without a problem and im feeling as if im back as before, i gained a kilo tho is anyone experiencing the same, im so depressed when i gain the weight back.

Hi guys, new here Im on the 2nd day of my Pre op and im already sick of the shakes i dont know how im going to last another 12 days. Im not sure about my situation aswell.. im a 23yr old female weighing at 76kg at 162cm so my BMI is 29 My surgeon said i can do the gastric band, everyone said i dont need surgery to lose weight because i dont look that fat just abit chubby. im really not sure if my dr just wants to make money from me or is telling me the truth i need to lose weight surgically? my op is on the 9th oct, lands right on my birthday aswell.. suggestions guys? my weight goal is 55 so another 20kgs.. help guys?

im starting to feel hungry and eating soft mushy food, i gained back a kilo?.. i dont feel full more anymore i can eat alot n feeling like its same as before?.. is my band not working

its 12 days after my OP ive been really bad, i already started eating solids on the 6th day and alternate to solids and shakes, so sometimes breakfast shake and dinner a small light meal e.g noodles/chicken/salad my surgeon said im doing well but he said not to eat solids continue shake and puree, i feel fine and i have no problem with eating solids atm. ill be getting a fill 6 weeks after my OP so i dont think i'd b able to eat much after getting my fill. i already dont eat much atm @.@

Feeling better each day.. the pain is getting better and walking faster..it seems like the port is always on left side because it feels like there is one specific spot hurts most.. One problem i have..i havent gone to the toilet since my OP.. ;( im trying to start drinking prune juice today..see how that goes..any suggestions on the bowel movements?

After walking im feeling exhausted..feeling like i hv no energy and hurts alot afterwards Been having really bad chest pains like something is stuck when i breath in. And heartburns Plus abit of water retention around my belly.. im hoping its goin to get better soon >_<

I am too.. i actually felt hungry today! ..i noticed abit of water retention arnd my belly..is that normal? ..i feel fatter than before but scales are dropping slowly to.. And ive been having really bad heartburns and hurts when i breath in to hard..feels like something stuck. Still extremely sore.

Congrats..im hoping my journey will be as successful as yours.. i jumped on the scaled straight away when i got home..gained a kilo..pretty upset..im not sure why i gained weight..but ill check it again a weeks time

Wow i got banded yesterday i couldnt move at all..i slept the whole day...completely drowsy and even till now im extremely sore.. i couldnt even walk to the car..and extremely nauseas.. ur amazing..i hope i can do the same soon! >_<

Just got discharged this morning.. Feeling really sore and neauses n drowsy.. all i can do is lay in bed n sleep n drink a little.. any help for banded beginners to help me through this?.. im frightened bcos im in so much pain..especially with the heart burn..

tomorrow is the day!! im so nervous.. im sad that its on my birthday but same time happy ..i guess ill have to think of it as its a gift to my self.. life changing gift! =D im going to look and feel good wish me luck guys! i havent been drinking my shakes jus eat healthy n eating less..i hope this doesnt change things :S im not morbidly obese jus slightly over weight so i think its okay for me to cheat a little right?

@@labwalker Yes that is exactly why i didnt tell anyone, especially because of my size im not that fat and even the receptionists for my surgeon said i dont even need to get the lapband done because im not fat. Times like this puts me in doubt whether to go along with this or not.

im 22 aswell turning 23, weighing at 74kg 162cm im getting my band on the 9th oct. im still deciding whether i should follow with this procedure. hoping this will change my whole life around, finally being confident with myself since ive been always chubby my whole life not obese just slightly overweight. Theres always option to remove it, like other people has said its a reminder in ur stomach to not over eat and go back to the old eating habits. positive thinking all the way~ ive got 10 more days till my OP

no one knows except my best friend who is driving me to the hospital and my partner. not even my family knows.. im still contemplating whether i should tell my family. 10 days to go till my OP ..

im on day 4 of my liquid diet, i cheated and had some grilled salmon yesterday tho :S i jumped on the scales first thing in the morning today im 74.5kg weight is dropping ive still got this friday to decide to pay and follow through with the surgery.. i havent spoken to any other surgeons yet still just deciding in my head do i really need this band?..

Congrats! Please keep us updated. Hows the nausea and everything? Im hoping mine will be a smooth op n fast weight dropping! Just need to lose 20kg is more than enough for me. Im motivated by everyones sucess stories ..hoping mine will b the same.. post some before and after photos aswell
