day 4 on 14 day liquid diet.omg I cant stop the coffee!i already had 2 cups with fat free half n half.i need to stop the afternoon cup starting today.this rough because im doing good with Protein Shakes and plain yogurt but so hard to stop the coffee.i find myself dreaming of it!of course im thinking of food but its the coffee more.

im getting the single incision sleeve,thru my belly button so my dr wants me on 14 day liquids to shrink the liver.i have lost 4lbs tho since Monday!!!

my dr is doing thru single thru my belly button!!!also getting my gall bladder removed the same time.i have gall stones and ive been winging the pain the past few months with it.im on my 2nd day of Protein Shakes 4x a day.its rough!!!im afraid to go anywhere for fear of being tempted to eat!!

you should be fine with them approving you with your bmi being 40.thats what they require.i have them also and is I was finally approved yesterday after I was denied.my bmi is 36.7 with moderate sleep apnea.good luck!

I know how you are feeling.it happened to me.i went thru everything and 2 weeks before my surgery I was denied.they said my sleep apnea wasn't bad enough because iop breathing enough times when I slept!you would think if you stopped breathing once it would be enough!!anyway I had quit smoking right after my first consul and I gained 10lbs so when I redid the sleep test and went from mild to severe and I was approved yesterday!its been a roller coaster ride this past few weeks waiting for muer.im scheduled for oct 6.my advice to you is appeal and redo some tests.

call your insurance company.i went thru all the testing and appts and thought I was approved because ins covered everything.then im scheduled and 2 weeks before my ins denied me.i was so upset.then my doctor appealed and I got the approval yesterday.my advice is to keep calling your ins company until they tell you, otherwise you will be on a roller coaster like I was when it was apealled.

I got my date yesterday!!woohoo finally after the first appeal insurance is paying.im getting my gall bladder removed which has been really painful the past few months and also a hyatil hernia repaired.i strated my 14 day liquids yesterday.my surgery is oct 6.i had first had a date of sept 15th and my insurance denied me 2 weekd before that.i had already started my liquid diet at that point.then for the past 3 weeks waiting for the appeal I would do Protein Shakes all day then dinner by 6 if I didn't hear anything from insurance.its been a roller coaster ride for me waiting for insurance approval these past few weeks.thank god its behind me now and I am embracing these next 12 days of liquids!!!I have been doing Protein shakes now for a while just to get use to having them.havent lost a pound!!but is mainly for the liver to shrink.my vsg will be thru my belly butten so that's the only incision I will have so shrinking the liver is very important.
