Me too I was looking for it this morning! Anyways I have a simple question I am almost 5 weeks post op and wondering if I can add a bit of peanut butter to my shake? Also if I can have some veggies not that I have space for it, but I miss eating salad and steamed veggies. If yes what r the best veggies to eat? Thanks
  7. @berkelycurves I had my surgery on Dec.19 and I also lost only 20 lbs. Not eating is not going to help you much, you need to eat. I haven't lost anything for the last 15 days, but I know because I am not getting enough fluids. I don't work but I am a full time student, and yes my energy is very low. I don't exercise, but I try to move around the house. Please don't be discouraged and depressed the weight will come off. From what I have been reading we need the fluids, protein and a tiny tiny bites. Trust me it will get better. we are here to support one another. So you can do it, we all can
  8. I had my surgery on Dec.19, and I am struggling with the water and protein shakes. I started feeling hungry and always craving something sweet. I am good at taking my morning vitamins, but tend to forget them at lunch and dinner I think I lack the time mangment. I don't know what to do? @ 4 weeks now when do I start having veggies? And what kind?
  9. Congrats and welcome to the losers bench
  10. Good luck you are in good & safe hands. Doctor Ortiz and Dr. Martinez are amazing and the night shift nurse is super. Everyone is amazing
  11. If you are arriving the night before your surgery, you are allowed clear fluids and protein shake. FYI The shakes they sell at the airport is very high in sugar! On the way back I bought a Greek yogurt with fruit, but didn't eat the fruit. I couldn't find plain ones. You will be surprised you won't be able to finish 2 spoons so you will end up throwing out the rest. Also ask for water and or half apple juice half water on the plain. I also got electrolyte drink from Walmart and took it through security. I just explained that I had surgery and they took it tested it and brought it back to me. Make sure you get up and walk during your flight I got up and looked funny because my back was not straight. Hope that helps. Oh and a very small pillow to support your tummy that helps a lot
  12. I am 16 days post op. I just had poached egg minced with a bit of cream cheese. I feel so sick, I keep walking and walking is it too soon to have poached egg? May be I ate it too fast? It took me 10 min
  13. Looking forward to pureed, the question is what kind of stuff I could purée? Thanks
  14. Congratulations on your surgery shiela! Had my surgery on the 19, can't get enough fluids in, struggling with the vitamins as well. Can't wait to eat cheese and nuts lol. Could you please give me ideas for puréed? Mix what? Thanks
