  4. oh boy. Lol are you one of those people that have to pick at scabs? Awwwwww. They don't use regular crazy glue hunny. Hopefully you're all sealed up. Knock on wood for no infection. They took the last two stitches out this morning and just added more Steri strips. I want to peeled them off but I try to resist the urge. I did have a stomach cramp that got so bad they had to give me 4mg of morphine.
  5. ive gotten 2 liters of saline , 1 liter of lactated ringer, 1 liter of vitamins and 1 liter of 5% dextrose. Let the peeing begin. Lol

  7. they'rv keeping me for 1-2 days. I'm very dehydrated.
  8. Was talking to the patient care tech here in the ER who had the surgery 10 months ago and she said it could be a problem with me being able to drink thin liquids
  9. I'm on my way to the ER now. The doctor sent me. No nausea or vomiting though and with a stricture there would be.
  10. when I go in today I think they are going to keep me. I'm so scared. I can't afford to cry even my eyes are dry and irritated.
  11. i can't drink lately. It's start cramping with Just a couple of sips. I know I'm dehydrated. The most fluid I've got in, in a day, is about maybe 24ounces. Last thing I ate was some pumpkin pie yogurt yesterday evening.
  12. i left a message for the doctor on call they haven't called me back yet. Both my best friends want me to go to the ER. I'm going to my post op tomorrow At 8am
  13. The UN.jury came and I didn't realize that the vanilla and the strawberry had Splenda in it. I can't stand Splenda. It ruins the taste of everything. But fortunately the chocolate classic does not have it whereas the chocolate splendor does. So thAt was a 48 dollar lesson. So if any body wants it they can have it. Lol
  14. @@kimodell69 They may not be sensitive to what you're going through. She probably believe she was just making a lighthearted joke. Like I say, just let it roll off of you like water off a ducks back. You don't want to go in with any type of stress it's not helpful.
  15. there's a lot of taste that I couldn't tolerate even before the surgery anything with Splenda in it or Stevia, they just taste wrong to me. So I get these proteins powders in the mail and some of them have that Splenda in it and then I can't tolerate it.
  16. At the beginning of my journey I have one sister and I weighed about 3 of her. But she always been very supportive of what I wanted.
  17. which surgery did you choose I had the RNY 10/13. We have a group "october 2014" on here all are welcome
  18. on the reviews on Amazon. Some said that it was a collagen protein and not whey and not helpful in maintaining you post surgery.

  20. I'm scared. Some chest pressure since last night. It's that full feeling you get but it won't go away.
  21. same with me. And I was having some chest pain. One suggestion that was given to me was to prop yourself with pillows keep you from turning over while you sleep. And try to use support when getting off the couch.
  22. I have issues with anything that uses Splenda or Stevia. I'm hypersensitive and I can taste it like metal in my mouth.
  23. Thank you @@lptreg and @@Beckyyb93 it doesn't help that they found a hernia while they were in there and did a stitch repair.
