  1. @@simplicity27 I had my surgery on Oct 6 as well. It's comforting to know that I'm not alone. I'm tired, bloated, gassy, nauseated, and WELL OVER Protein Shakes. I was starting to feel tired just doing simple tasks so I figured this was the result of a lack of Protein. I've been trying my best to go hard on the protein shakes for the past two days. But as of this afternoon I literally felt as though I was going to throw it up. So I gave up and I've just been drinking Water and Gatorade. Do you feel painfully gassy and nauseous first thing in the morning? I've been experiencing this when I wake up in the morning. I've been so tempted to move myself to the puréed stage. I'm craving tuna with light mayo, Lol! I'm also craving apple sauce, cheese, and a turkey meatball! Lol...Jesus help me!! This is hard. However, surprisingly enough the weight is really falling off. I'm already down 19 pounds from the day of surgery which was only a week and two days ago. When I look in the mirror I see a completely different person. My face is changing and I'm developing a collarbone... wow! This ought to be interesting.

My Pre-op daily diet consist of:

    2 to 3 Protein drinks

1 oz of solid protien (fish, chicken, tuna, etc...)

A half of cup of vegatable (non starch - i.e. no corn, potatoe, etc...)

112 Fluid oz of Water (approx. 7 bottles) per day

My actual surgery date is Monday, October 6th. My highest weight recorded was 307, my weight on the first day of my pre-op liquid diet (9/23/14) was 282.0lb, and my weight today (9/26/14 - 3days later) is 277.2lb which equals almost a 5lb weight loss.

    I'm 5'7 1/2 and my Goal weight is 170lbs.

  3. I'm finally officially on my second day of my pre-op diet. I must say...not too bad! I truly thought I would be dying of starvation but my Protein Shakes have been keeping me quite satisfied. I wasnt sure if Unjury was going to live up to the hype, but they taste amazing (i've only tried chocolate Splender and vanilla so far)! It's the first Protein Drink I've tried that doesnt actually taste like a "protein drink". @@Melissayw816 I have to agree...the anticipation is killing me. I just want to get it over so I can actually have a good night sleep minus the crazy "surgery dreams". Lol! @ I fear the same thing. This surgery is as much about health as it is about image. I was blessed to inherit some nice curves and I REALLY want to keep them.
