  1. Hi guys! Water is not my best friend like it used to be:( but Gatorade and cranberry juice are. If I were to eat and need a small drink in between even when we aren't suppose to Gatorade is the one that doesn't cause me to feel like I need to stop eating bcz I'm too full of liquid. Food has been good. I can eat everything so far except spices just small bites. Ice cream is my absolute favorite even when before the surgery I didn't even eat it. Ice lost 65 since preop. Very happy with the results. The hair is falling like crazy but I have plenty. I will say, I suck at taking my vitamins. My period has been more normal. My Bowes not so much. I can spend a whole week without going n then go 3 days in a row. Exercise been horrible. The cold keeps Me at home a lot but I like to think my boyfriend is helping with that sex workout. In all I think things are great. One day at a time
  2. I have spoken to a few other sleeve peers and one of the girls said she did 5 days post op. I waited about two weeks. As long as ur body feels like is fine. It should be fine. I did felt exhausted the next day but that was to be expected. Just don't do much of the effort. ????
  3. This was an example of how our days may look like. We had to do liquids for 2 weeks. Which for me ended today! And today we advance to stage 4. Which I have another example in case u would like to see it too. Liquids for me were a bit hard but with food is being a bit easier
  4. In my program they gave this this to follow. Well, we have a whole book from them. But I hope it works
  5. My sleeve has been ok. My program requires me full weeks of liquid until my post op app this Wednesday. Today I couldn't anymore. Got tired of so much icecream. I tried chicken breast. It hurts a little still going down. I feel a pressure on my chest. If I drink anything with the food I fee like throwing up so that I learned not to. I get amazingly hungry between 2-4am. So is all icecream at that time. Still haven't gone to the bathroom without meralax help, but then again I haven't eaten anything. I am thirsty all day. Super horrible taste in my mouth but dealing with it. I will say ladies, I can smell my urine different. I used to drink pills a long time ago for weight loss n back then they told me the smell was the fat. This time it smells the same for my body is obviously peeing the fat and u can smell it. (Sorry for being graphic. I'm in the medical field and anything is important to say no matter how disgusting it may sound) I had my ladies days a week post op. Not much of a change. Only a bit more tender since my belly was still aching. I will be honest, my sex drive is over the moon! I'm sure my partner doesn't mind, but I can not wait for my doctor to put me on birth control asap!

  13. oh my god girl I am with you on this one. I guess hiccups and they hurt like no other. Take your time in the hospital. In my case it has been pretty ok until it was time to go home! I do not own a car so I call an über pick up and the driver as many times as I told him to take it easy, he would stop very hard or go thru a hole and my entire inside would hurt. Same thing with my sister, she decided to take me to her home which I'm glad Bcz everything still hurts, we took one little hole in the streets even when she mostly drove pretty good, and I cried until I got to her house.
  14. I realized I was getting nauseous from the painkiller they gave me. I stop pressing the button after I realized it and then they started giving me pills for the pain instead. That did wonders!!! I'm still in the hospital Bcz they still haven't take out the drain but hopefully today I can go home
  15. My program required me to lose weight before the surgery. I lost 15 pounds for the liver to get smaller. Then I only had to do a 2 day liquid diet. I thought is better than 2 weeks. I'm currently in the hospital in bed n just paying for me to poop lol

  17. Hi ladies! My surgery was today around 12pm and the is 12am and I still haven't walk. The anesthesia has me HIIIIGHHH and absolutely sleepy. I get a bit dizzy when sitting up n nauseous. I'm not really a pain complainer. Pain has been manageable. There's gases but I'm lactose intolerant so I'm used to that kind of pain and at this point doesn't bother me much. Been sucking on those swabs. But besides, sleepy high:..I feel good.
  18. Idk about you guys but I haven't been able to sleep the whole night. The surgery is schedule for 1030am today. I'm suppose to be up at 7am. But then again, I have not slept at all. I'm nervous/excited/super scared is also a feeling. I can't wait for it to be over and I wake up and say, here we go!
  19. We have the same date! I would love to hear how you doing after. I'm having mine at 1030am and I would love to hear about yourself! Good luck with the last minute nervous wreck lol I'm beyond scared
  20. my program requires me to lose 15 pounds before the ok of the surgeon so my purée diet is only two days preop. Which I'm very happy about. But I'm excited someone else has it the same day as me. I wish u all the luck in the world
  21. are you ready? I have my preop this Tuesday and im freaking out! Hahaha
  22. yeti same day as me! Good luck girl!
  23. Thank you! I am super nervous because they said it will take at least a month after my last visit with my nutritionist. Two hours after my last appointment they called telling me the date and the preop appointments start next Tuesday. I've lost about 12 pounds since is a requirement for my program, and is been super hard to eat good while having those -my last meal- feelings. Specially since thanksgiving is coming! But just the thought that hopefully in December 25th I'll be thinner and done with the hardest process of the surgery, I'm glad is happening so soon.
  24. Hey guys. I was called today for my surgery day and is November 17 and omg I couldn't believe it because is so close****
