I set a timer for every ten minutes and drank sips of water.

Wow I have gastric paresis as well. I am in day 5 of post op so in still on full liquid diet. I feel good so far. I took motillium for my gastric paresis but it's only sold in Mexico. I was on Reglin but the side affects are to risky.

My advice is walking through the pain it helped me greatly. I only had major pain on Day 2. I took my pain meds every six hours. I am on day 5 post-op.

I am five days post-op and I am feeling great. Walking after surgery is key to feeling better. I was walking every hour on day two and three.
