working out and not losing weight
I agree with the other commenters. This has been my struggle so I definitely understand. You aren't eating enough calories so your body is holding on to everything for dear life. LOL! Plus you are only 10 weeks out which is still early. I would suggest eating something every two hours. Yogurt. Fruit. Protein bars. Nuts. Jerky. Boiled eggs. Veggies. I know it is hard while still trying to get in your Water though. Good luck.

Low Blood Pressure/Dizziness
This happened to me right after surgery. The dizziness was caused by my bp meds. At first, my bp was way to high 190/120. Doc switched my bp meds then it was way too low 80/60 (or something crazy like that). After a couple of days trying to regulate it, doc pulled me off the bp meds and my bp finally stablized. Good luck to you.

What is your TRUE weight loss goal?
I really needed to read this post and the comments because I have been so frustrated and discouraged lately.

Question for the runners
I just recently started running (twice a week at a very slow pace). For Breakfast, I eat 3 deviled eggs (3 halves) and a Protein bar. At one part during my run, I felt like I wanted to spit it all up. I didn't though but I could have. Do you eat anything before you run? Is it better to run on an empty stomach and eat something when done? Please advise. Thank you.

Starving!
I have had 3 deviled eggs, two protein bars, a protein shake, two bottles of water and some peanut butter on a spoon. My body is like "forget all that crap!! I am hungry!! Feed me! I need food. Real food". LOL!! I want some french fries (6 or 7) will do and a bite of a burger. Just a bite. That's all I need. I guess I will eat my kale and some pretzel instead.

Frustrated and Pissed off!
I am 10 months out and have only loss 5 pounds in the last couple of months (60 total). I have loss quite a few inches though but only 5 pounds. I work out 5 days a week, twice a day two times a week. I eat my protein bars and shakes, drink a decent amount of water every day so what the heck!!! I can tell the difference in my body over the last few months but the scale doesn’t show it. I am trying not to get frustrated and discouraged but it’s hard. I keep telling myself to keep pushing forward… that I feel great and look great but Ugh!

Found a new protein bar I like
I found them at TJ Max @@Lynn Hatcher. I purchased some Zone Protein bars from costco this weekend and they are actually pretty good too.

Miniature Candy Bars
At this point in my journey, I can eat anything I want and not get sick. It's all about choices. I chose the eat better and healthier 95% of the time. I do enjoy that 5% though.

Drinking and eating at same time video
I am 10 months out and I still don't drink when eating. If I know I am going to eat something, I will stop drinking 20 or 30 minutes before. Drinking will fill me up too fast. Since I don't eat enough, I need all of the calories and nutrients I can get.

Found a new protein bar I like
LOL!! I am bad about keeping track of carbs. I do ok with tracking calories but I am not consistent with it. It stresses me out and I don't like to be stressed out.

6-7months post op
I am a little shocked at how little (variety of food) you are eating at 6 to 7 months out. You definitely may want to talk to your NUT about introducing new foods. Good luck.

Miniature Candy Bars
I agree alot with what you said @Bluesea71. I do like to indulge every once and a while. I want to be able to still enjoy some of the things I like like an occassional candy bar, adult beverage or a potato chip. LOL!! It is all about moderation. I figure I put in work at the gym 5 days a week, sometimes going twice a day, plus drinking and eating my Protein. I deserve to treat myself.

Miniature Candy Bars
I just had three miniature candy bars. I swear they were so good!!! I feel a little guilty though (just a little). LOL!! I remember a time when I would have eaten two full size candy bars at the same time. SMH!

A moment (more like 40 minutes) of doubt and panic..

A moment (more like 40 minutes) of doubt and panic..
I spent the weekend going thru all of my closets and old clothes trying on stuff to see what I could still wear, what to give away, etc. I created a big pile of “giveaways”. They ranged from sizes 14 to 20. Once I was done, I started having doubts… “maybe I should keep this just in case” or “what if I gain the weight back”. Before I knew it, I had put about 75% of the "giveaways" back into the "keep" pile. So…I finally took a break, sat down and had a heart to heart with myself... ensuring myself that I would never go back to that old person… that this was a lifestyle change… that I was doing great, etc. Even tried on some of the “too big” stuff again to prove to myself that they didn’t fit. Finally, I put everything back in the “giveaway” pile and boxed them up and smiled. For a while there, I thought I had lost it!! The mind is a powerful thing.

Anyone whose goal weight is less than 100 pounds?
How long did it take you to reach your goal weight? I need to lose a total of 83 pounds to reach my goal. In 9 months, I have lost 59 pounds. I feel like I should have lost a lot more by now but it has been slow going. I work out 5 days a week, get in most of my Water and Protein every day. I am working on increasing my calorie intake because I know I am not eating enough. I just wanted to see if anyone else is struggling like this. Thank you.

What is your work-out regimen?
I do cardio 5 times a week. (3 miles on eliptical or treadmill or both). Weights (which I hate with a passion) two times a week when I am up to it. Nothing fancy with the weights. I need to work on being more consistent and develop a weight training plan. I have found with working out everyday by Friday I am usually dead tired though.

Would like some advice about what to tell work
You really don't owe anyone an explanation about anything so do what is comfortable for you. I was very open and honest with my boss about everything. She was very supportive which helped me not stress so much about work. At first, I didn't tell anyone (other than my boss and a close co-worker) anything but I later began to open up about it and told some people. For those I do tell, I use my story as a testimony. Someone asked me if I was "sick" and was that why I was losing weight. I was shocked they asked this. I told them I was sick but was losing weight so I would no longer be sick. One thing I have realized is that people aren't dumb. If you drop a lot of weight in a short period of time, they know something is going on. They just don't say anything. However, there will be some people that will ask. What you tell them is entirely up to you. You don't owe them any explainations.
