Just curious did you have the bypass? What was your start weight and now? How long ago did you have surgery? Sorry for all the questionsImageUploadedByBariatricPal1444609463.950100.jpg I have to share this happy moment, when I can go to Ross and buy a dress size 6, I'm just over the moon!!!!

He said since day 1 don't worry about calories just get 60/80 gr Protein. And eat protein first then vegetable then carbs. My stomach is so small that if I eat protein first I don't have space for veggie or bread, Pasta, rice etc. also I can't eat any meats or deli, few fish, so I survive with Protein Shakes, nuts, cheese

Well he said he didn't expect me to get those results so fast. So now I'm waiting for the nutritionist appt, that by my team should happen at 1 yrs.

I am wondering the same about calories. How many should I eat? I lost 86lbs and I'm now at my normal weight in only 6 months. Now I need to maintain. I'm at about 1000/1200 per day, I get 70/80 Protein per day. Stay low in sugars and carbs. Doing Zumba about 3 times/week. In terrified to gain weight again, but I'm still loosing about 1 lbs at week.

@@bellabloom I agree with you about the Protein bars, question about beef Jerky isn't too salty? I can't digest meat or chicken, I'm at 6 moths I do eat lots of nuts, veggie, brown rice, etc.

6 months, lost 86lbs, I'm at my goal weight as by bmi is normal, now I need to maintain hopefully for the rest of my life. Getting scared of possible weight gain, I'm still going down, I'm eating about 1200 cal a day, 60/80 gr of Protein, light exercise. Gradually I'm eating more so I'm worry if I could gain weight terrify by that idea. I'm finally happy with myself.

Some of the Quest bars have the sugar alcohol that makes me very sick, also yes it is more sugar but as double of protein, usually is my lunch. I have to say that I'm getting tired of Protein Bars or shakes. I just wish I could eat " normal" food and still meet my protein goal.My fave Protein Bar is Quest! Premier is my favorite Protein Shake but their bars leave a lot to be desired, in my opinion of course. Here are my reasons why, I don't like bars that are coated, I'm not willing to give up almost 300 calories for a bar, prefer to keep my sugar at 6g or less and you can't make warm and delicious Cookies with them. Yep, I said cookies. One Bar makes 4 - 2" cookies. I tear them, place on a paper plate and microwave for 20 seconds. Sometimes I sprinkle a lil Splenda if they have chocolate chunks in them to sweeten them up. Here are 16 different flavors:
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream, Double Chocolate Chunk, Chocolate Brownie,
- White Chocolate Raspberry, Cinnamon Roll Flavor, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Coconut Cashew,
- Strawberry Cheesecake, Apple Pie, vanilla Almond Crunch, Peanut Butter Supreme,
- Banana Nut Muffin, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Mixed berry Bliss, Lemon Cream Pie

I went to my 6 month check with the doctor, he send me to a plastic surgeon but they told me I have to come back at the 1 year from surgery. I am at my weight goal already, but they want to make sure I lost and maintain the weight I guess. In about 3 moths I'll start requesting with my family doctor for a referral, and will go from there. I would love to take care of extra skin on my inter tight, and arms.

No knee pain, no back pain. Only little pain for working out. Still been very careful on what I eat. I only take Multivitamins, and B12 I can't tolerate Calcium. I'm finally living my new stomach!

That was really fast! I agree you just need a lil time. I can only wish I can look that good in the same time period as you. You must so proud of yourself. ????[/quote
I didn't really do much, I was sick for the first 3 months, I still can't eat much so I'm really limited to what I can eat, I wish I could eat a little more like a normal person in small quantities.
-
Yes I'll give some time, and I need to start working out. I don't intake much so my energy level is very low. I lost very fast. So give little time it's a good idea for my body to catch up!
You do look great! I know you said you are concerned with your arms. I would give yourself sometime for everything to settle. I hear people say their skin rebounds a bit little by little.
