  1. Congrats on the date @@hadderrie8!! It's so exciting!! I feel like i am the only one who does not have a pre op liquid diet before surgery . Not sure what to think of this lol my nutritionist just said to just eat light the week before surgery. I feel the same way the surgery is perfect through the holidays getting the extra days off to recover. What are you drinking for your liquid diet? Are you all prepared for after surgery? I am still trying to find a way to make a Protein Drink i actually enjoy lol hopefully this is possible:) Would love to be a surgery buddy!

  2. @@Shell88 I am in the process of trying to find Protein drinks that i like. Any suggestions? My nutritionist said for clear liquid part to drink gatorade lemon lime g2 mixed with Protein powder. I really dont have a specific pre op diet they just said to eat light starting 7 days before surgery. Seems most people have a specific diet. Do you? Just had my ekg and blood work today and have to go for a pre surgery seminar the 8th and guess im good to go:)

@@Angelkeeper4 Congrats on getting the date!! Its so exciting:)

  3. Can't believe I got the date! Felt like it was dragging and now i feel like these next 2 weeks are gonna fly by. I am beyond excited but also feeling some anxiety. This is gonna be a huge life change, but I am so ready for it. My sister should be getting her date not far after me so am so excited for her also. If anyone would like to keep in touch and chat through this im here:) Could use any helpful tips and advice to get ready for this!

  4. May sound weird but one of the main things that makes me nervous about this surgery is if i will have lots of vomiting after surgery? I seen a couple people write that they vomit on a daily basis after surgery. Is this normal? One of the nurses at my weight loss center said they do not want you vomiting because enflames the stomach. I hate nothing more then vomiting so do not want this to be a normal part of my day. Would appreciate anyones input. Thanks!

  5. I am in the same boat. I am so excited but scared to death. I worry all the time about things after surgery. It's going to be a huge change. I worry a lot also that I still have to cook and feed my family after surgery and how will that be not eating any of the food. Don't know how other people deal with that. I do have lots of offers for help. But I don't want to put that on everyone. I am looking forward to changing and getting healthy . Also the more I read on this site the success stories and all the support sure helps a lot.
