Thanks everyone for the suggetions. Figured out today its stomach acid. Talked to doctors assistant today and she suggested it might me gastritis.. Tried an antacid and no more nausea or vomiting!!

Almost 7 weeks post op. Been having serious nausea/vomit issues since last Thursday. Now first let me say this is something thats happened in the past. About a month ago ( I even posted about it but got no responses) I had the same issue for a few days but it passed. This time its worse. It's the I can't decide if I'm hungry or want to throw up kind of feeling. I thought at first maybe it was because I'd skipped a snack.. but since then its gotten worse and even after I eat something I still feel the nausea. Anyone else have this issue? Called the doctor and now just waiting for a call back from the nurse.

I've been on pureed for about a week now. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I'm not pureeing enough.

I am 22 days post-surgery. For the last several days all the sudden anytime I put anything down (food, water) I get nauseated. I’m not sure if I’m just drinking/eating too fast or what’s going on but I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. It goes away after 20-30 minute and I haven’t thrown up yet. Is that normal? Am I doing something wrong? I’d like to try and make sure it’s not something I’m doing wrong before I call my doctor and go in and it be a minor issue.

Thanks. I will try the Centrum chewables. How many times do you take it a day? I have separate iron and calcium that I'm taking also.

Does anyone else have issues taking vitamins? I have the Celebrate Bariatric Multi-vitamin chewables. Every time I take one I literally get nauseous and start throwing up like 3-4 minutes later. This isn't the first time I've had this problem with multi-vitamins. I've had this problem with various vitamins in the past before I ever thought about surgery. Has anyone else ever had this problem and does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this from happening?

Hi everyone. I am almost 3 days post-op. The gas in my body is terribly uncomfortable but I'm walking every 2 hours for 10-15 minutes. My problem is I'm having a really hard time getting fluids down. Even with the tiniest sip the worst/most painful air bubbles come back up. Last night it was almost uncontrollable and I ended up dry heaving which was one of the most painful experiences of my life. And I sip as slowly as possible. My question is should that get better once the gas is gone? I assume so but I guess I just need some reassurance. This first 24 hours home has been miserable and I'm starting to have the 'maybe this was a mistake' thoughts.

Hello everyone. I’m a newbie here and this is my first post. I’m so thrilled. I was approved today for my loan to have gastric sleeve surgery. I have wanted to have this surgery for several years now and have just been unable to afford it and my insurance will not cover. Anyway, I am located in the Houston Texas area and I wanted to ask the people who were/are self-pay what the price of their surgery was and who their doctor was. I was going to go with Doctor Robert Marvin because I’d been told and I’d read a few places that his price was 11,000 but when I called today they said that was not the case and its 13,400. Just wondering if there is anyone in Houston do does it cheaper. Thanks so much for the help.
