  1. I was told too that during the healing process you may not lose much either. It'll pick up yall. We gotta have faith!!
  2. I was sleeved on March 3rd ans my weight loss has stalled. I've been told if you don't get your protein and water in you won't lose. So today I am going to work really hard to get it in and see what happens
  3. This is depressing! I thought these feeling were supposed to eventually go away
  4. Madmax--my weight loss started out super slow. When I picked up my protein it improved. Sleeved 3/3 I have lost 21 lbs so far. (Including preop liquid diet)
  5. I ended up having lapband to sleeve revision on March 3rd. Best decision I ever made. It took 3 hrs and doc said I had a ton of scar tissue but he pushed through. I'm so glad he did it all in 1 surGery. I really feel like if anybody else had done my surgery they would have done the removal only. 20lbs down so far !!
  6. Town da...how are you doing with this now? I too am having a similar issue but my heart also races.
  7. I'm totally starting them then. I am drained and need something to hopefully build me up. Thanks everyone!
  8. All mine are chewable so I'm not sure why I was told 3 weeks!!
  9. My surgeon gave me 3 months supply bariatric chewables and sublingual b12 but I was told to start them 3 weeks post op. I am only 1 week out and really struggling with energy. When did hall start taking your vits?
  10. I started having the same thing yesterday!!! I am not even a week out of surgery! I ended up going to the ER because it jumped up to 140 by the time I got to the ER it was normal. They didn't find anything wrong!
  11. I had a similar situation yesterday and I am glad I found this thread. I was just sitting on the couch yesterday watching TV and my heart rate jumped up. When I checked everything my BP was 78/40 and heart rate 140. By the time I got to the ER my surgeon was there. No leak and all labs looked fine. I don't have the reflux and I know its not anxiety but at this point we don't really know what the problem is.
  12. Bp was 78/40, hr 140. But everything normalized. They checked me for leaks just in case. No infection, wasn't dehydrated. Got to go home. Feel ok today.
  13. Well, I wound up here in ER today. Not sure what's going on yet. But thank God there is no leak.
  14. Sleeved on the third. Went home at 4 that afternoon. My husband says I was in a lot of pain when I woke up. My surgery took 3 hrs because I also had my lap band removed. For some reason I have been the most sore on my left side. Everything else ok. No nausea. Gurgling at times. Worked 2 hrs yesterday which ended up being a bad idea. Made dinner last night other than that I have been a couch potato. I get to start full liquids tomorrow. Yay!
  15. Well, had surgery Tuesday went home around 4pm. Drain removed next day. Tody just sore. But it took them 3 hrs to do about an hr and 45 min surgery. He said I had a slip and tons of scar tissue....I may have posted this already. If so I apologize. Wonder if I can submit that to insurance for possible repayment whether it's partial or not I don't care.
  16. Surgery went fine yesterday. Very sore today. I was private pay. But the surgeon said my band had indeed slipped....so shouldn't I be able to contact the insurance company and submit a claim? Surgeon told me I had a lot of scar tissue. It took him 3 hrs! Said it should have taken 2 hrs max.
  17. Oh yay!! Mine is at 715! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers!
  18. Yeah I told the doc I was having surgery. And I called my surgeon this morning and they said as long as I felt better and wasn't running a fever I was good to go!
  19. I was definitely going to talk to them tomorrow and see how I felt. I have already made a significant improvement. No more cough or sore throat. And those were what we're bothering me so. Now I'm just having hot flashes from the steroid shot lol
  20. I'm sure a lot is stress induced. I know I have definitely bee stressing out about this. Thanks
  21. We are going in same day! I feel your pain. I was literally in tears a few moments ago
  22. I have surgery on Tuesday and I too have been sick. Went to doc in the box today and got 2 shots (antibiotics and steroids) He said if I felt better I should be fine....but what about getting the steroids...should I be worried? No fever, no pneumonia. On Levaquin....soooo worried they will want to reschedule??!!!
  23. I went to the dr today with upper respiratory crud. He gave me a steroid shot, clindamycin shot, steroid dose pack and levaquin. I am already a ton better....BUT surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. The doc today said if I was better I would be fine....anyone have this happen so close to surgery? Kind of freaking out. This liquid diet has kicked my butt and I really don't want to turn around now......
