Has anyone had to have gallbladder surgery after already having surgery for your sleeve? My surgeons said it was too risky doing them at the same time, so on 1/19/15 I go in the hospital for gallbladder surgery and if so how did you feel after? (Tmi) did you have diarrhea, nausea, ect.. After you recovered? Thank you in advance!!

And that my levels are all good I can't wait to look back on all this and laugh..

It definitely takes some time to get back to "normal" as far as emotions and energy level for sure. Take the time you need and don't undervalue self-care! Good luck!
Well this coming week will be my 6th week out of work, today my energy level is at an all time low, my stomach hurts, (tmi) diarrhea, Migraine, and lost 11lbs in 2 days... I spoke to my surgeon and he's sending me to the ER for tests, hope all goes well thank you all for your support!

Hello all! Well I had my sleeve done 12/9/14, I went back to work 1/5/15 and went to my surgeon yesterday 1/7/15, he to me out of work again. I'll be reevaluated on Tuesday. The reason he took me off of work is Bc 1)I'm a hairdresser at a really, really busy salon, 2) I'm extremely exhausted. I've been taking my Vitamins and have been getting B12 shots ect. My problem is I can't get any Protein down, maybe 1/2 of a Protein Shake. My Fluid in take is very little. And food is very little as well, so I have no fuel for my body. I'm scared Bc I feel like I let my boss down and the other stylist, they have to pick up my clients. So when I walked into my surgeons office he said well "you have the bariatric Blues" which I totally do! Sometimes I regret having this procedure done. My weight loss has been slow, 22lbs since surgery and 32 all together. Plus I went in monday for and apt and the scale said I gain 2 lbs.. I was hysterical.. Hoping this all gets better!! I just keep telling myself it'll all be worth it in the end thanks for letting me vent! I'm going to a support group tonight, I think that'll help!

@@Beni I had WLS 3 weeks ago yesterday, and last night was the first night I actually got a good nights sleep (thank god) I feel a bit better, I don't know if it's from the B12 shot or if I was just soo tired and run down that my body actually let me sleep.. I go back to work this coming Tuesday .. So scared!!

I sometimes have to work nights and I don't know how I'm going to pull this off?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Oh and I've been getting in my Protein, taking my Vitamins, drink my fluids..

All sounds good but the ground beef might be too soon..

I took the strips, you won't want to be swallowing anything you don't absolutely have to.. Good luck!

I was sleeved on 12/9 and have been out of work since 12/5 due to have to get a filter in, I'm a hairdresser at a very, very busy salon and I go back to work on 1/5
-
Congrats on being sleeved!! I made cream of broccoli Soup, and butternut squash soup.. Was sleeved dec.9th and am still working on them!! But have lost 25lbs so far..
-
It's a very small amount of cheese.. You'll have tiny bits, chew them thoroughly and you should be fine, I just made one tonight and it was great and I feel great!! So good to have another option besides Soup and such! But if your concerned pls ask your doctor first! Enjoy!!

Hi I’m a sleeve➡️bypass I’m almost 3 weeks out, I wasn’t the model patient but I have to say 💯 that this surgery was so much easier than the first, I have tolerated everything so far very well (almost too well it worried me bc I had almost no constriction) feeling hopeful! My post-op appointment is on 11/9/21. The weight loss has
Been much slower then when I had the sleeve, but again, feeling hopeful! Has anyone heard that with this conversation, you lose weight much slower, then it all falls off? Thank you in advance!
