I mean, I felt better within 2 weeks after surgery but a little over 4 months later and I feel totally different than I have ever felt before. It still makes me laugh that I eat less at a meal than my skinny little 9 year old daughter. But that's a good thing.
You'll feel better soon, just hang in there but what people like us have tricked ourselves into to believing what normal feels like in my experience is tired a lethargic and depressed. My entire life ha changed as a result of this surgery.
I don't feel normal anymore. I feel exceptional.

Congrats on the the weight loss but more importantly congrats on changing the way that you think about food.

Ya the shakes are terrible. I was on the 2 week pre op liquid diet and hated it. I still hate them. I am on pureed and shakes now and as much as I hate the shakes the pureed food is worse. Im big on texture and pureed just gives me the willy's. 1 more week until solid foods for me.
Just hang in there you'll get through it.

I'm 6'3" and my pants are 66X32 my shirts are 6X but they are starting to get baggy. Trying not to buy new clothes until after Christmas.

Hi Turk here. I'm scheduled for September 29th. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. Honestly that is the only part that worries me. Oh well just one more hurdle to jump over.

I'm glad to hear everything is going well for you. Congrats!

My surgeon's office submitted my paperwork to my insurance company on Tuesday. I just got off the phone with the lady from the insurance company - I've been approved for surgery! TWO DAYS FOR APPROVAL!
I'm so glad - and now I'm nervous. Naturally.
