  1. I'm the same! We keep our air on 77-78 and sometimes that is too cold
  2. Congrats! You've just doubled your dating pool. HAHA, I am married though.
  3. Yes.. its crazy.. I never had a sex drive.. and now I want it all the time. He is being patient, and we have done some fun stuff with others.. I have had a few highs and lows.. had a couple depressing moments.. but all in all I'm SO MUCH happier than before.
  4. This is why it ends up only being newbies. *sigh*
  5. Has anyone gone through an identity crisis after WLS? I feel overall happier than before, but I don't know if its culmination of my age (36) and the weight loss, but I feel like I'm going through a bit of an identity or mid life crisis? I'm glad my husband is giving me a little leeway, and we are having fun "discovering" things together.. but then I feel a little depressed lately too.. my whole identity is changing.. People call me beautiful, gorgeous, a MILF.. and I'm just not used to these things.. they seem so foreign. When I was over 250-300 pounds, people mostly ignored me.. no one looked in my eyes.. people were barely friendly.. my husband agrees that my personality hasn't changed that much.. but just the outside me.. I also discovered changes in my sexuality, that I had no idea existed. I went from 0 sex drive, to 150 MPH, raging, always wanting sex as well.. I'm rambling, but just wondered if anyone else has gone through this, and do the hormones calm down after a bit?
  6. FOAM ROLLING. The best advice I ever got was to get a good quality foam roller and use it before and after runs!
  7. You may find this interesting, but now that I've dropped so much weight, I have discovered I am bisexual.
  8. I started running in increments.. then got to a mile, then 2 miles, now I run 5-6-9 miles at a time.. you will get there.. but start out slow, and consistency is key.. 3-4 days of running a week.
  9. I think at St. Mary's hospital there is one. I'm in SOMD also.
  10. Oh, nice to hear the story!! Let me know the resort and price!
  11. I had a hard time too, still do.. I never had this problem prior to surgery.. Lots of water, and stool relaxers.
  12. Started seriously running around 285.
  13. I thought the same thing before surgery.. I even didn't think my friend needed skin removal surgery before she had hers.. now that I have it, I feel differently though. I could fit almost 2 sizes smaller if I had a tummy tuck.
  14. I want to do it, and I've been looking at Alter Ego Clothing waist trainers (AEC). They have a group on FB and you send pics and measurements and they hand make your trainer. Waist trainers aren't the same as girdles, and aren't harmful if you do them correctly.
  15. Dilaudid is the best post op med ever. You look ABSOLUTELY amazing! I have my consult on May 17th. If you would inbox me pics of the lift, I would be interested in looking! I don't want implants, but a lift.. Which procedure did you have for the lift?
  16. When is your surgery? I have my first consult 5/17
  17. If you are a man or a woman, someone is checking you out. LOL
  18. Haha.. Ok! I have a feeling you'd give me a serious workout.you better believe I sure would! Then I'd follow up with a hot shower, candlelight dinner and a massage! I guarantee the next day at work we would both be smiling!
  19. Haha.. Ok! I have a feeling you'd give me a serious workout.
  20. Women are probably way less aggressive at the gym, but I can assure you, I am checking out most guys at the gym. LOL
  21. Yea, I understand! I get that sometimes.. I'm only used to seeing people I'm with getting checked out.. I really like the attention too.
