  1. For those who had their sleeve in Oct 2014, how are you doing?
  2. I use MyFitnessPal, it has been a key to my progress. Even if I hit a bump in the road I make a note of it. I had stopped writing everything down since Christmas Day and I was not losing much so I got back on MyFitnessPal this past weekend. I feel the positive difference already. It is so doable. Also, walk or march around your house every chance you get, even if its only during commercials. Wishing you the best. You can do it!
  3. Wow! You look great. Thanks for sharing. Feeling hopeful.
  4. Wishing you a quick and full recovery.
  5. YES!!! What you are feeling is completely normal. Hang in there before you know it you will start feeling so much better. Cheering for you.
  6. @@JCP My thoughts exactly. I am so happy that I don't have those cravings anymore. It's sad to see how greed has mislead us all into thinking it is okay to eat all of those unhealthy foods and portions.
  7. Nice job! Wish I could join a gym and hire a trainer. Since you can take advantage and use it to your advantage. Good luck and keep up the great work. Soon you will reach your goal.
  8. Congrat's! 25lbs is a great accomplishment. Great job. Its been one month since I got sleeved today. Feeling great and am down exactly 30lbs. I have been working out at least 20 minutes daily and taking in all my Protein and H2O. I am using MyFitnessPal to keep track of calories which I am keeping between 450-600 daily. Anyway, it sounds you are doing fine. Good luck and keep up the good work.
  9. Thanks @@CowgirlJane I'll have to keep in mind that maintenance is basically like the weight loss phase. You've done wonderful. Thanks for sharing your info this helps with my confidence.
  10. Today November 13th is exactly a month of being sleeved. I can't believe I am down 30 lbs. I feel so much better and can't get past the thought that this is actually working. I have been on many diets as many of you on here have, but I never had these results. Please tell me that the weight will continue to come off as long as I keep doing what I am doing...which is following doctors orders.
  11. It certainly gets easier. Just keep in mind why you are doing this.
  12. That's so wonderful! Congrat's and keep up the great work.
  13. Congratulations! You look beautiful. Keep it up.
  14. That sounds pretty good to me. To lose 21lbs in 5 weeks is an accomplishment. Keep it up do not give up.
  15. Congratulations! Can't wait till I start fitting into smaller sizes. I bought a blouse a few years ago just because I liked it so much even though it was not my size... can't wait to get into it. Hopefully sooner than later.
  16. Drains are used to drain all the liquids that could accumulate in your body after surgery. Not everyone gets a drain. Happy I didn't. Your doctor should be able to tell you if they use them or not.
  17. Congratulations! Way to go. Your story inspires me. Thanks
