  1. i'm drinking about 40 grams of protien, can't do anymore, 8 oz of broth and that is about it
  2. 3rd day was pretty good. took the kids to the parade of lights to kick off the x-mas season which was fun, but was hard watching my husband and kids chow down on taco jons, but they need to eat. today, has been hard. i have almost no pain from the stiches, so in that aspect, i'm doing good. however, having sever migrains which is making me sick to my stomache. hopfully that will soon pass. i had those painfull non-hiccups yesturday too, but haven't had them today, hope u are better.
  3. hi all welcome to the band wagon, we made it!!!! my worst part was a realy bad migrain in the hospital. my tummy is sore and i'm looking foward to my first shower!! not having any problems with gas, thank goodness. the surgery went well, except that they had a terrible time getting my IV in. they finaly got one in the right side of my neck. grrr! my arms look worse then my tummy! hope everyone has a quick recovery! tracey banded nov 20 in riverton wy, by dr. lewis
  4. good luck to u all!! i'm headed to riverton wy getting the surgery done by dr. lewis, who i'll meet fort he first time today. lite Breakfast today then Clear liquids for the next week. not looking forward to "bandster hell" but looking forward to getting this overwith.. hate hospitals. wishing all of u a speedy recovery and i'll check back in when i get home on wednesday. tracey
  5. i've had to c-sections, so not to worried about the pain, besides, i can sit at my desk for a week and take it easy at work. have to get moving so i can get the kids off to school and sice i live 20 miles from there school and work, might as well go to work after i drop them off. my husband is a truck driver, so i'm on my own getting them to school. did pre-op for 2 weeks, lost 11 lbs.. did do u do one? all i had to do is high protien, so not very difficult. all the holloween candy around here is not helping. having thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and hoping i can eat a little of x-mas. good luck to u and keep me posted on your progress!!
  6. i'm on the 20th. sleeping okay, little scarred i'm going to die, and my ex is going to be raising my kids, lol. just freaking a little. shopping done, taking next week off and hopeing i'm ready for work the next monday. how are u doing?

  8. i haven't even met my doc yet, isn't that weird.. i'll meet him the day before the surgery..i have only been to the clinic once and he was not there. lol.. blew my high protien diet today.. had my daughter left over pizza. oh well, back to the rules tomorrow.
  9. i agree! i feel the same as u do. it will be my first time being put to sleep, not looking foward to that all. otherwise glad to be getting it done. my doc wants me on high protiens.. been for a week and i feel like i have been drained of energy. lol.. i need some carbs!
  10. hi Marissa, i'm getting banded on the 20th too. holidays are going to be a struggle for me too. planning on having a nice cup of turkey broth, lol
