    September surgery

Ok glad it's not just me... HW 295 SW 245 CE 219 R n Y on 9/15 and only lost 26 pounds, but I did lose 32 inches! From size 22 to 18 and some 16w. I feel better and look better. Recently went to a party with old friends and got lots of compliments. Since I'm newly divorced I sure need them. I keep reading how much more others have lost and keep wondering what I'm doing wrong. It's still such a struggle to drink all of Water and I'm getting nighttime leg cramps from dehydration. I just started taking Potassium pills. Let's talk constipation. WTH? I've never had this problem. Taking Miralax every day and ex lax every 3.

    Plateaus.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond! I feel better and not so alone in this. I was starting to think I was doing something wrong since I didn't lose much. I read several other posts and seems others have a stall about the same time. I'm staying off the scale for a week. Last night I think I may have eaten too quickly as I got a horrible pain in my chest. I walked around and it subsided in about 15 mins, but wow it really hurt. Felt like I was stabbed. I was always a fast eater. That sure will slow me down. I really appreciate all your advise. Hugs!!

    Plateaus.

One month post surgery. Only lost 17 pounds.... Can this be a stall already? I'm frustrated and givubg buyers remorse. I'm barely eating enough to keep a bird alive and not losing. I eat my 3 meals @ 1/4 cup and 1 30 grams of Protein drink. Drinking Water and walking 3-4 days for 30 mins. Any suggestions?

    Miserable!

Krydmo, Hang in there! Try cutting up your pain meds into pieces they are much easier to swallow and you'll only need a smaller amount of Water. Keep taking small sips, walking eases the pain and breathe! Your on your way to a new fabulous you!

    Miserable!

Today is one week post surgery and the first 4 days I had so much pain too. Honestly it's only today I'm feeling more myself. Follow the rules, sip, walk, breathe. It will get better. Focus on the new healthier you. If you're in that much pain call the surgeon maybe they can adjust your meds. Wish you all the best.

    Post-op day 5

Hi y'all! I had surgery on 9/15. I still have a lot of pain on the left side but it's getting a little better. Still taking Oxy. I do very well with getting in all of my liquids and now drink 3 Protein shakes a day. I also drank them pre-surgery and found the Chike brands to be the best tasting. banana, chocolate and coffee flavored. I also bought some whey Protein powder as its higher in protein, and went online to find no sugar syrups. A company called Torani has lots of great flavored, pumpkin, almond, black cherry, gingerbread, Irish creme etc etc. they really help to offer a variety of shakes. Hope this helps you. Wish you all the best as we all become "losers" ha ha
