  1. Best of luck... Hope you have a speedy recovery
  2. Thanks. I'll wait for this challenge to start. My goal is 4 hours a week. I will post my weight loss goal on 3/1.
  3. I agree its really none of their business. I didn't tell my job anything.
  4. @@Rebeccaabrooks86 I was able to access the link. So is this a new challenge? When does it start and end? So every Monday we report how many hours we worked out the previous week?
  5. Hey in google docs if you go to top and click on share and then click on shareable link and make sure it says anyone with the link can view
  6. @@losergrl75 you can just post your weight
  7. @@tamartaya1 WOW! If you don't mind me asking why did you owe so much out of pocket?
  8. I really miss bread but I try to substitute it for other things. Like instead of just a regular Philly steak I make Philly steak stuffed bell peppers.
  9. I had a hard time with Aetna as well, but I guess in the end it was my fault. I gained weight during the 3 month process and got denied and had to go through their external review appeal process which I ended up winning. Hopefully your process will go smooth. Good luck!
  10. 230.4 Thanks for running this challenge
  11. Don't get discouraged. Progress is progress. Just make sure you are following your plan and putting in the effort. Good luck!
  12. I had about 11 days off but I have a desk job. I think you would need at a few weeks and there are lifting restrictions so you should discuss this with your surgeon.
  13. lmao ok but what exactly do I say to them You can just call and tell them you are checking on the status of your VSG approval. My insurance called it pre-certification.
  14. We have very similar stories. My heaviest weight was 295. When I saw that number on the scale its like my heart dropped. I was able to lose about around 60 pounds on my own but gained it all back. I was 287 the day of surgery on Oct 22. 2015. I have no regrets and although I feel like I've been a slow loser I am happy with my progress. Good luck on your journey. Keep us posted.
  15. I would call..It wouldn't hurt. Plus that way you can make sure they have everything they need.
  16. This is a hard journey and we all have our slip ups but please have the will power to say no. The sleeve isn't magic and you have to be mentally strong. Good luck on your journey!
  17. Sorry, didn't see your question. Your 3 months start when you see your dietician.
  18. I went through Aetna. I was eligible for surgery due to BMI, etc. But had to go through three month process. Once completed the surgeons office will submit your information to Aetna and Aetna will approve or deny. If you follow the criteria and do not gain any weight during the process you should be fine.
  19. So you got approved before doing the 3 month supervised diet program?
  20. Maybe you can try a VSG friendly diet so that you can start getting use to it. High protein meals and maybe start a workout routine. Good Luck!
  21. Congrats. I can't wait to hit onederland. 36 more pounds to go.
