  4. Tomorrow I'll be exactly 6 weeks post op. Until yesterday the only exercise I've been doing is walking on the treadmill. Yesterday I went to the gym and did an aerobics step class, but I kept getting dizzy. So my question is how did people manage to get back to rigorous exercise after surgery with eating so little? Do you have any tips on what you eat before a workout to help get you through the workout?

  12. It really depends on your insurance company. If it doesn't say anything in the bulletin, you should be fine. I have Aetna and in the bulletin it states that you can not have a net weight gain during the program. I gained weight during the process and was denied but was later approved by appealing.

  14. Would Chili be considered soft foods?
  15. I'm allowed mash potatoes. I'm 9 days post op. It isn't something I plan on eating a lot once I'm back on regular foods but it's helping me get through the pureed stage.
  16. Good luck to all those having surgery tomorrow....
  17. I noticed if I stand too long my incisions start to bother me but it's not intense. Kind of just feels like pressure on them but once I sit it pretty much goes away.
