  1. I'm 26 and I wish I would have done it when I was younger. I say if you have done your research and it's something you want then go for it. Good Luck!!
  2. Yeah, I didn't provide any additional documentation. The surgeon and nutritionist asked about my past attempts and it was in their notes that they sent to the insurance company.
  3. You'll be fine. I had to fill out a questionnaire before meeting with the psychologist. We went over the that. Most of it was just making sure I understood what the surgery consists of and that it requires a lifestyle change. Also asked if I had a support system and my past weight loss attempts and why I thought I was unsuccessful. Mine was about an hour also.
  4. I also have Aetna. Have you looked at their bulletin. The requirement for a two year history weight has been removed. I'm not sure if you have to follow other requirements. When I first started my journey the bulletin stated you need 2 year weight history. They have removed that statement. If you look at the revision history and on 8/12/2014 it will state what was changed. http://www.aetna.com/cpb/medical/data/100_199/0157.html

  11. My doctor uses a 36. When I spoke to him about it he said that smaller sizes have a higher chance of having complications occurring but no significant difference in weight loss.

So this Thursday I will be 7 weeks post op. I was previously on the Nuvaring, My gyno suggested I take it out before the surgery and start back using it after surgery. So my dilemma is should I get back on it. My concern is that it will interfere with my weight loss and I definitely don't want that. Has anyone gotten on the Nuvaring after surgery? How did it effect your weight loss.
