Just saw the nutritionist this morning. First step is not drinking while I eat. That's hard for me. Second is chewing much more.

I can't imagine why they would say that. ..

I work in the operating room. I can assure you all, we do not care. It doesn't even phase us it is very common for women to begin their period before surgery due to the stress.

Ohh gosh, so much! Not constantly making sure my shirt is pulled down and not hiking up. Walking into any store and buying clothes. Not having to search for wide calf boots. Not feeling like I got ran over by a truck every day after work (I work in the operating room ). Fitting into seats. Having confidence. Feeling good is at the top of the list though!

I'm am so sorry you and your family, especially your son, have to go through this. That is a horrible test on your new life. Keep strong momma ♡

I'm so glad to hear from you all! It was a little scary not having anyone my age to talk to about this, because honestly, I don't think it's the same experience as someone a little older. I don't have a husband or kids, so I think it will be nice not to have to worry about anyone other than my self. As for the alcohol, I rarely go out now, but I do every couple of months. I honestly don't think I will have trouble giving up alcohol. I joined a sorority in college and got all of my drinking out then Thank you all so much for the replies. I'm sure I will have a bunch of questions

I'm having surgery in March, and I can't seem to find any one that is around my age. Everyone at my support group is 40+ so I'd like to talk with someone who will have closer results to what I will have. How is the loose skin post-op? I am 310 pounds, 5'7" and looking very forward to surgery!
