  1. My surgery was supposed to be March 8th, I got there and during prep they checked my BP and it was extremely elevated so they cancelled the surgery. I had my IV and everything it was like 15 minutes prior. I was absolutely devastated. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  2. I am scheduled to be sleeved on March 8th, and I was told that they will check the day after the surgery.... Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

  5. Hello I am so excited and relieved ????!!!! I got my approval on January 4th. This process has been extremely simple. I have BCBS UAW. When I decided to get this I called the insurance company to find out if it was covered and the requirements. Needless to say it was covered and I met every requirement. I did not have to complete a 6 month weight loss because of my BMI. I am super excited and nervous because it all seems to be moving so fast. I started this journey in December and will have my surgery on March 8th in St Louis Mo!!! Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  6. Also if you ever went to the ER in the last 2 years that should work. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  7. I looked into having this done several years ago and my insurance was uhc and bariatric surgery was on the exclusion list. I contacted uhc and they said that it was add to the exclusion list by my employer. I was devistated. I'm with bcbs of Michigan now and it is been a very simple process. My surgery is scheduled for March 8th. Good luck to you with your journey!!! Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

  16. My surgery is scheduled for March 8 2016. I'm nervous, excited and scared. I'm trying now to get all my stuff in order.... I work at General Motors assembly plant and do a lot of heavy lifting, pulling, tugging and walking. I work 6 days a week on 3rd shift. Some my sleep pattern SUCKS. I only average 4 hours of sleep a day. I'm just wondering how much time I should take post op. I would appreciate any feedback and I would love to hear how long others took off post op.
