    NEW YEARS CHALLENGE!

Last week 164 This week 163 when I was weighed in by my surgeon. He had to give me a cc of fluid as my band is lose due to all the fat I lost in my stomach. I thought it was something serious because I'm able to eat more but turns out all that exercise and eating right has caused me to lose a lot of fat in my mid section leaving bandi with little to hold onto. I should start to feel fuller quicker after a few more fills..???????? I'm so happy the band is working for me! I went to support group last night it was refreshing to hear everyone's struggles and successes as im not alone. Hope all is well with everyone.

    NOVEMBER CHALLENGE!

1 Nov 185 12 Nov 174 26 Nov 172 7 DEC 170 Weight loss goal for Dec is 6 pounds. I strained muscles in my upper back had to lay off working out for a week. My surgeon only gave me 1cc when I went for a fill 3 DEC. I currently have 4cc in my band. I asked what size band I have he laughed and told me to just keep up the good work and concentrate on eating right and exercise. He just will not tell me my band size no matter how many times I ask him.

    food intake

My surgeon and nutritionist have had me eating 5 Oz of food every 4 hours. It has worked very well for me. However everyone is different. What did your surgeon suggest? @@BandedMi And of course as you start to get adjustment the food intake will go down even more. I make sure that 3 Oz of each meal consist of Protein. Also I drink a lot of Water in between all day it helps as you will become very hungry until adjustments start happening for you.

    Gas pains still?

I have been fortunate to have never experienced the shoulder pain at all. I did and still do have lots of gas almost 3 months post op. My surgeon had me sleep in an upright position for 3 weeks to avoid developing the shoulder pain. I truly believe that is why I did not get the shoulder pain. I also started walking minimum 2 miles a day right away starting with the first day out of surgery. My surgeon is very aggressive but it has helped me????????????
