What did you guys eat around this time? I know not all doctors recommend the same things but just wondering. Please share goods and ideas.

Hey everyone I'm very new I just had my gastric bypass on dec 31st 2014. My emotions are all over the place and even though I wanted to get this undone I have decided to stick it out for my better. I didn't make it this far to quite now. Anyways it's been 5 days and all I have is some protein shakes and lots of water. I wanted to know what else I can have like borth,Popsicle,jello etc. I just need to know what's allowed your 1st week. Then on the 2nd also thanks in advance to all.

Can someone who has had gastric bypass change their mind and get it undone? I'm emotionally drained and feel this is the worse mistake of my life and just want to go back to normal. Please help .....

Just had surgery dec 31st and I don't feel bad but a little confused I have so many questions running through my mind. Some things are like I wish I never did it and should I get it reversed. Will I have to be like this forever. I started this journey weighing 410 I'm 347 now before surgery but I feel so down and lost. Any advice or ideas please let me know thanks

Had surgery Dec 31st and I was in some pain but today woke up with less pain been walking a lot and drinking water. The surgeon said if I can handle drinking the shakes that I might be able to go home today fingers crossed. Any advice out there? What vitamins to take? How's the shakes after surgery??

I understand that the reason some surgeons request a liquid diet before surgery is so that your liver shrinks. The day of sugary do they run test on you to see if it shrunk?????

Has anyone ever cheated on a liquid diet? Mines started yesterday and so far so good hopefully it'll be smooth surgery is coming soon I'm so scared but ready for a new beginning

Hello I'm looking for a surgery pal who is serious and looking for some extra support like myself. My surgery is set for Dec. 31st. I need some advice and motivation.

I start my liquid diet on dec 10th and I bought a protein shake powder but it's gross. I need some suggestions please something affordable but good tasting also. Please help!!

After surgery I know they said it take longer drinking anything. But my concern is will I stay that way forever. Will it always take me forever to drink something? Also I need some protein ideas something between 100-150 cal. 2-3 g of sugar and 15 of protein please help

How long do you stay in the hospital? What shakes did you use after surgery? Any extra info would help please feel free to share with me thanks

I'm feeling so many different emotions right now everything becomes so much more real now that I have an actual date. I'm excited because I worked so hard to get where I am today, but then again I'm scared of the pain and effects after surgery. Can anyone share their experience and let me know some more info on this subject thank you all

Okay update I went to see my surgeon yesterday and they will be calling me in about 2wks with my surgery date. I have to be on a 3wk liquid diet before my surgery date. I need to know what's a good shake that's 100-150 cals and 15 grams of protein please help and let me know and info that could help

I was approved for surgery and have to go see my surgeon on Oct. 23rd for a following up and start my 2 week liquid diet. I'm so happy but feeling nervous and wondering what's ahead. Any advice? I'm only 5 pounds away from my weight goal. I'm feeling so many different emotions right now. Someone please share their experience.

Finally I was approved I have to see my surgeon on Oct 23rd to go over things and start the 2 week liquid diet. I'm so happy and nervous but glad very excited I got approved! Does anyone know what happens next? Is the liquid diet hard? Do they provide the shakes?
