Finally I was approved I have to see my surgeon on Oct 23rd to go over things and start the 2 week liquid diet. I'm so happy and nervous but glad very excited I got approved! Does anyone know what happens next? Is the liquid diet hard? Do they provide the shakes?

Congratulations! My surgery should be pretty close to yours if Oct 23 is 2 weeks before. Mine is Nov 10th. My doc doesn't require a 2 week pre-op diet, just full liquids the day before. I think every doc is different so you will probably have to ask them. Give them a call, I am sure someone can fill you in on what to expect.

Mine doesn't provide any food or Protein drinks, etc before or after surgery, but they gave us a list of approved products so we can buy them ahead of time. They also told us what we needed in terms of Vitamins & supplements.
