  5. I have no idea how to post a topic myself been here for a few days but ppl are great and the forums are very helpfull,,,, hooe someone answers your question so I can also learn
  6. I started eating pistachios a month after surgery but hey we are all different
  7. Nuts were highly reccomended In my diet since they are high in Protein I love pistachios, almonds and peanuts,..I eat my yogurt with crushed amonds otherwise I couldn't eat the plain yogurt

  10. I'm gonna be 10months post op the 5th and when I don't drink enough water I get dizzy to the extreme I feel like fainting Before it was not enough protein and my sugar real low so it can be diff things
  11. Could it be the staples???? Or maybe the benadryl irtitated the pouch I hope it goes away if not please call your doc,...keep us posted

The first month is the hardest I understand the frustration I use to cry myself, felt weak I felt lost at times but trust me it will get better,..its a matter of time I use to eat popsicles all the time or fruit bars, sugar free Jello and pudding use it helped me the first 2weeks because I couldn't stand anything pass my pouch I use to drink the Protein in juice/crystal light since I couldn't pass Water the first weeks *****I use to divide the scoop of protein with the jello and puddings******
  14. They say popcorn is not good I haven't had any and I love popcorn,..I'll be afraid to try it Check with your nutritionist! !!!!!
  15. I use to drink from a straw for 4months so straws are good just go easy,..and good luck

I will be praying for you as well please keep positive,,.I will never regret doing this surgery,...2 weeks after surgery I waa already diabetic free I'm off meds, needles and I feel great I can do things I couldn't do before with my family. I wish you the best of lucm and pleasw keep us posted as well
  17. It sure does and I hope so it isn't fun at all,..ohhh I get real moody which never happened before so I guess my hormone changed
  18. Same here I get real hungry before it starts but I go back to normal when it starts,...I been getting mines 2x a month ever since I had surgery is no fun at all

Yes I've also have but I love my decaf coffee now its a matter of adding a good flavor to it I drink mines with skim milk, one shot of unsweetened caramel swirl or cinnamon one splenda,,..I drink one cup a day my friend also had the sleeve she drinks 3x a day we even make coffee protein shakes Good luck
  20. Going on 10months post op and I get between 80-120 but I count my meats and fish if I eat any,..somedays are hard since I'm tired of the protein so I vary between protein bars, shakes, etc Good luck and keep it up

Its normal to feel scared or how you're feeling, I would be concerned if you wasn't feeling this way. .I had so many emotions ppl use to scare me I had fear myself had the same thoughts as you what would happen if I don't wake up who will take care of my kids,,..but if this makes you feel better once you go in there with a positive mind and say a prayer before anesthesia quicks in you will see that when you open your eyes it will be all over and done with, it happened to me as I was praying when I opened my eyes it was all done I seen the light and everyone telling me how great I did my surgery took 2hrs and it seemed like it was just 20mins I thanked God and dozed out again. Fear is our worst enemy I will be praying for you please keep us posted I wish you the best of luck and remember God is with you!!!!!!! *****Will add you as a friend*****
  22. I started to drink 4 months post op i never consulted my doc,...the lil cans of margaritas? I get quickly drunk with one of those,..I drink a glass of wine every weekend it gets me tipsy but I'm fine it does not upset my stomach at all But check with your doc everyone has their restrictions,..
