  1. Glad to hear that this phase is temporary. I was also sleeved on Oct 20th. Just came home this evening. Had massive nausea 2nd day.
  2. This is the begin of Healthy Kya! I can't believe it's finally here. I am so excited. my check in time is 8:30 with surgery scheduled to begin at 10:30. I started my transformation on Friday by getting my haircut and colored, cause Healthy Kya has short red hair. Oh yeah.
  3. Anyone else on for Monday, the 20th? I started my liquid diet and feel so tired. Really glad I work from home cause I don't think I would have th energy to get dressed and travel to the office this week.
  4. So happy for you!

  7. you can go to their site and order samples, that is what i did. I hit all the providers of protein products and supplements, and emailed them all requesting samples. i have gotten really good responses, and lots of things to try
  8. oh, a mug warmer. great item, adding to my list. i bought a small 4 shelf bookcase and put it in my kitchen. i have put all my pre/post op items on there. Protein powders, SF torani syrups, flavored non dairy creamers, broth, and my magic bullet-like device.
  9. I don't remember anything from mine, totally asleep.
  10. Ok, maybe TMI, but..... I have noticed since beginning protein shakes that I feel like I am getting a bladder infection. I did increase my fluids and it seemed to relieve it somewhat. Anyone else have this issue? Any tips?
  11. I went for my last md visit before surgery on the 20th, signed all my consent forms. Met with anesthesia. And I and got a call from the office, they submitted my request to BCBSNC yesterday and i got approval today. /happy dance with me y'all It's really gonna happen.
  12. i also was worried about the endoscopy but honestly don't remember a thing.
  13. Welcome to the forums. I am relatively new too. Attended my seminar in August and I am scheduled for surgery on October 20th. I spent hours on here reading and researching. It's a great group of people here. And the support is awesome.
  14. I would suggest calling your doctors office and asking for specific instructions for pre and post op. My doctor requires everyone to attend a 3 hour meeting detailing pre and post op diets and what to expect in the hospital.
  15. wow, that sounds great, gonna check them out
  16. I like the Premier Protein too.
  17. With my job the std doesn't kick in until day 11. So I will be using paid time off for the first 2 weeks.
