Protein and Urinary Issues?

Ok, maybe TMI, but..... I have noticed since beginning protein shakes that I feel like I am getting a bladder infection. I did increase my fluids and it seemed to relieve it somewhat. Anyone else have this issue? Any tips?

@@Kya Wolf - I had a hard time taking in any fluids post surgery. I was lucky if I was able to drink 20-30oz a day. liquid, esp Water seemed to make my stomach spasm - not sure why - but it did. Anyways - because I wasn't drinking nearly enough, I ended up with a UTI & kidney infection, which landed me back in the hospital for 2 days. I wasn't drinking enough Fluid to flush out my kidneys, which is what caused the infection. Try to keep drinking enough fluids. It will help. If you are concerned about an infection - def check with your doctor!!

Hope you get some relief soon! :) Best of luck.
