Yes! I was sleeved 9/30. I tend to stall then lose a bunch then stall again. It's very frustrating. I'm almost 10 weeks out and the scale hasn't moved in about 5-6 days. It sucks! However, I'm down 51 lbs so I'm happy about that!

hey there! i was sleeved 9/18. i've had i think 2 stalls so far. but i noticed that when i kept my Protein up and get enough food in a day that the scale keeps moving. i know what its like to feel sick when you want to eat. sometimes when i know i need to eat but i smell food it makes me want to vomit lol it doesnt last long its just annoying. but plus side is i've lost 47 pounds since surgery! goodluck to my fellow september sleevers

Also did you go to any of the support group meetings @ orange regional??? You would have met lots of people who had surgery by him there. They have the meetings on the first tuesday of every month in the conference room on the bottom floor @ 7:30 pm. Vicki handles the financial part with your ins company & she is fantastic as well. Laura I believe is the name of the nutritionist who runs the support groups & also is the one you would have your one on one meeting with. She is very friendly best of luck to you & your journey with whatever doctor you choose to use

totally normal. your body has gone through major surgery. trying to figure out what is going on and how to deal with it. give your body some time to recover. follow your plan. drink water!!!

That's normal! Don't panic! Your body has been starved and it's "hoarding" everything! Start moving more, make sure to get your Protein in and put the scale away!!! You got this, don't let your head get the best of you! Good luck!

Try using a soft cheese like American and melting it with some milk while you slowly scramble the eggs, it will add the calories and Protein you need but without the elasticity of cheese that can upset your tummy

You'll gain weight right away due to all the IV fluids.
As far as weight loss goes, it varies from person to person. My advice is to stay off the scale until at least four weeks after surgery. Learn to focus on getting your Protein and hydration in, and following your team's program, rather than a number on a scale. You can control how well you follow your program but not how much you lose or how fast! So I say focus on what you can control and have faith that good things will follow.
eta: if by "see" any weight change you meant, how soon until you see any visible changes, again it varies a lot, depending on how much you have to lose in the first place! People really started to notice for me about three months out.

Congratulations on getting your date & also in having Dr. Judd!!! He is an awesome surgeon & you are in great hands! I am so glad I had my sleeve done & I was very honored to have Dr. Judd. He is so nice & really takes the time to explain things & his team of nurses & office staff are all fantastic!!!
