I'm sorry, I can't answer that. I lost my baby at 20 weeks (a week after I made this post). Good luck to you and yours!

I am a few days shy of my 1 year anniversary and I definitely have restriction. Not like the first few month, I am able to eat about 3-4 ounces of dence Protein. And not I can eat small portions of almost anything I want. Although that is not really a good thing at times

On a positive note....no boobs but I have a flat stomach and I can wear a size 6, run 5 miles and increased confidence and stamina. So it's not that bad after all.

"Comparison is the thief of joy"
Too often we compare our weight to others, that should be avoided. Everyone is different, we all lose at a different pace and have different lifestyles. We should Celebrate our losses and try to enjoy this journey.

Big difference!!!!! Congratulations !!!!

although I researched Mexico. I decided against it. I was self-pay in NYC. My insurance covered the pre-op testing because it is basically consultations with different specialties and I paid the surgeon and anesthesiologist. I felt more comfortable being in the united states in case of complications and I have someone to sue and hold responsible if anything goes wrong. I know a lot of people that that went to Mexico and was very successful. But, I like the idea of calling and going to fix it my doctor as often as I like/need. Developing a face to face relationship was important to me.

I was self pay and my initial consultation was September 2nd 2014 and my surgery date was October 8th 2014... Being that I was a self pay patient they had a fast track program which made the process speedy.

Today at the gym this young lady jumped on the scale and I just had to take a peek. (I am always fascinated at people who are confident enough to step on a scale in a public area)
To my shock and amazement we weighed the same amount. Could that be?? I don't feel like we look the same!!!! I don't even feel like I am close to her size. After losing 70 pounds it is hard for my brain to catch up with my body. Does any one else have this issue?

I was in the hospital for one night. I can't imagine coming home the same day. I actually felt I needed an additional night....lots of discomfort.

It dehydrates you....according to my nutritionist. It's very difficult to get the required amount of fluids especially in the beginning....coffee will not help the situation. I was allowed coffee post opp...but somehow my love for it died. It just didn't taste the same

The price paid for my surgery is pocket change when In comparison to how I look & feel. No buyers remorse here! Best decision of my life.

I do not think I did any thing out of the ordinary. I followed my doctors meal plan 85% of the time and I am just trying to be as consistent as possible and not go back to my old eating habits. I try my best not to let stalls upset me. This is a marathon not a sprint
