  1. Only 11 hours in and I want real food. Hah.
  2. This is pretty great, I'm going to start thinking of names.
  3. I just started my 2 week pre op liquid diet this morning. Surgeon says no coffee. But I can have plain decaffeinated coffee. --And let me tell you, I'm about falling asleep at my desk right now. No coffee sucks.
  4. Starting my 2 week pre op liquid diet this morning. Oh boy.
  5. Today I'm going to be telling the surgeon and physician assistant I work very closely with that I will be off for a month. My mind and stomach are churning right now trying to figure out how I'm going to explain it. They depend on me. I've thought about telling them that I'm having a small bowel resection. I'm just wondering if thats the right explanation I want to go with. I don't want them to think I'm having weight loss surgery. I don't want to be looked down upon and look like a lazy fat girl.
  6. - Not to have to wonder if a chair is going to support me before I sit down - Not to have to walk light-footed through houses so I wouldn't shake the house AS MUCH - Not to be larger than my significant other - Not to wear out/break my recliners
  7. Do any of you have a list of things that you want to do after you lose the weight? What are they? I want to: ride rollercoasters run go shopping wear heels ride horses! <3
  8. @@foodfighter78 Wow you are rocking'! Great job!
  9. @@Whitefoot Hey that's alright. Good for you!
  10. Umm we should be buddies then! For sure!
  11. My surgery date is May 9th! Pre op all liquid diet is 2 weeks. I'm so freaking excited.
  12. Also, you could consider making an appt with a podiatrist. They could possibly talk about a cortisone injection. This is something that is easily done in the office, usually right during your appt.
  13. I'm May 9th! I start my 2 week pre op liquid diet on 4/25/15.
  14. My vacation this year is going to be the whole month I take off to have surgery!!! . Lol
  15. I'm 5'10.5" and I have a goal of like 185. I think I'll look pretty bomb at that weight.
  16. Make sure to check with surgeon first before applying any lotions. Usually incisions must be fully healed before applying any lotions.
  17. Yeah, I feel ya. I wrote a paragraph about how crappy I'm doing right now with eating, and then I didn't post it because I wasn't brave enough. This guilt has to be the worst. *hugs* Do what you need to do to get back on track.
  18. I'm currently going through the process with the Cleveland Clinic. So far so good, except for having to attend a Substance Abuse Risk group meeting because I'll drink a bottle of wine MAYBE twice a month. Apparently I'm a binge drinker. I told the psychologist that I don't need to go to a meeting, I can just stop completely right now, but nope. Whatever. I'm not going to be drinking at all after surgery, I know this. So far that's my only irritation. I expected it to be a long process.
  19. This is a good question. I would also like to know what people suggest. The last thing I'm going to want to do is go to Walmart.
  20. Yeah, don't be surprised if you get another bill. Hospital billing can sometimes be TERRIBLE.
  21. I'm going to be drinking and handing out candy. Kids that are not dressed up are NOT getting any candy from me.
  22. I CANNOT wait to go shopping at Victoria's! Some day!
