I agree with this! Definitely make sure there's a pillow in the car for the ride home though so you can hold it against yourself when going over bumps or anything.

This! My stomach and gut are so loud, too! I’m over 2 years post op. It’s embarrassing!

I used liquid roxicodone for like a week and really regretted it. I went to the ER for Constipation.

I get this all the time, but I'm super proud of myself too for doing such a great job at getting healthy. This does not bother me because these people all care about me and are genuinely proud that I'm getting healthy! Go me!

Yes, my original supermodel goal weight was 180. As I neared that I have lowered my supermodel goal weight to 175.
I'm sitting at 179 today and feel that 175 is definitely achievable and I think I will actually pass it. It seems crazy to think I will be that light!!! Blows my mind!

I usually play on my phone in between bites. Also I think about what will happen if I eat too fast, I’ll get sick and have to vomit it up!

I agree with "the stages are not written in stone". So so true. Give your tummy time to adjust!

I know that I way over packed. I definitely was not in the mindset to read or anything. I maybe watched some TV when I wasn't sleeping. I stayed in the hospital gown until I was discharged, just easier this way and I did not care.
Take what you want, I don't regret over packing or anything.

It took me from May 5th to January 27 to lose 100 pounds. From 327 day of surgery to 227 approximately 8 months post op! Almost 26 months post op and still losing! I think I’m down 152-ish at this point.

Bariatric fusion chewables! They seem to be less expensive than other brands. I prefer the strawberry flavor.

I echo this. Best decision I ever made for myself!

I definitely would not do it in pre op phase or that soon after surgery. No way jose.

Gastric bypass was the best thing I have ever done for myself!

Yup. You gotta kick your own ass and start making good decisions! There's a reason you had this major surgery to begin with!

Oh man. It is awesome to finally not be labeled as obese anymore! I agree!

When you have a lot of excess weight, it will come off easier and very fast. That’ll slow the closer you get to a normal weight!

I’m so annoyed with myself that I didn’t take before pictures. At the time I was just full of so much pure disgust at myself that I didn’t take pictures.

Oh my gosh yes, don't forget to get Miralax on a regular basis with the narcotic medication! I went to the ER with Constipation because I couldn't go by myself! It was embarrassing taking a dump in the ER! Colace, docusate sodium, was not enough for me!

I was given liquid Roxicodone. That stuff was strooong. I didn't need it for long at all, maybe 1 week. After that, just children's liquid Tylenol.

Are you eating slowly enough? I know that it's sometimes hard, but try to be mindful of that.
