So i arrived this morning in san diego, the driver alberto was waiting for my bff and i with a sign w my name on it. The drive into mexico was maybe a 30 min. The Marriott is beautiful like a resort the staff are so friendly helpful and nice. They are accustomed to surgery patients and are sure to make sure you are having broth Popsicles etc. The walmsrt wad a safe clean short walk, i bought the most delicious mini popsicles Tamarindo, mango, pineaple, lime, strawberry Omg so good! 4 DAYS OF CLEAR LIQUIDS i was sick of them! The broth at the hotel is so delicious home made ! I was stoked that there was tiny tiny bits of spices and chicken so tiny it can possibly count! Lets hope dr ortiz doesnt read that ! The gym is so nice here and pool area is like a resort

I have had nothing but clear liquids for 2.5 days and have horrible diarrhea! I am so discouraged because i have lost aby weight either! How the hell is it possible ? Anyone else going on Monday 1/5?

I was weak i cheated and ate yesterday night and go sick as a dog, i did t binge i just couldnt tolerate the food! I did clear liquids today and have diarrhea not pleasurable. I want to chicken out because i am so afraid of dying or having a horrible complication!

I am choosing to go to Dr Ariel L Ortiz. At the obesity control center. I went to several us surgeons my bmi is 40.0 i have no current preexisting conditions other than my knees are trashed! I tried to play the insurance games but after a year they still said no. To pay an American surgeon lowest cost was 15000 most costly 23000. I am a nurse i have worked in just about every department and i have seen my share of butchers get into the obesity surgery game because cash! I decided to research fiund mexico on accident. The surgeon i choose has a bariatric specialty and accreditation! Important to me! The facility only does this type of surgery! That means its a mill that has this finely tuned! Like a well oiled machine! The cost was affordable grsnted more expensive then some other places but hopefully i get better services! I know another nurse who has been to mexico 2 times w her friends for surgery w be lightweight she swear by them! Their price is 4500. I will tell you if you know you want this dont mess w insurances!

Sister i will have to tell you i hit the vegetables at the buffet, todsy i csnt think of snother vegetable. . Starting shakes only todsy no more veggies. I have been told by several people who had surgery that the desire to eat wss gone after surgery. I am looking forwaed to that

This is not a decision to enter into lightly it has taken me 3 or 4 years to make this decision. It shocks me that people just jump in and have this w bmi as little as 33. I didnt support my mom when she had a duodenum switch because she isnt compliant w anything ever. She went ahead and she went from close to 400 lbs to 140. She is happy thats all that matters point is if you wsnt it need it do it !
