Welcome Della! My surgeon is not requiring me to do a two week liquid diet. I just have to make healthy choices (I am a lower BMI). I did not have to have a colonoscopy but did have an upper endoscopy where he found a hiatal hernia which he will fix when he does my sleeve. I have not been told anything about nail polish. Gosh I would love to go home same day! That would be totally awesome but I know I have to stay at least overnight because he does a leak test 24 hours post surgery. Is everyone excited? Summer

3Pugaliers have you talked to your doctor about the nausea? They should be able to prescribe some anti-nausea meds for you. Hope you feel better soon. Summer

Deanie I am trying to get my walking up too. Since the rain stopped its awesome walking weather here Missouri . I hope you don't have to see any more specialists before your surgery. Summer

I am also a very picky eater but I am going to treat my smaller stomach like a new baby and try to have an open mind about ALL foods and try whatever at least once. I am hoping that with all the taste changes after surgery that I will like many new things that I try. I hope you find plenty of things that you like too. Summer

I am scheduled for Nov 4th. Next Tuesday I have my preop labs done and Wednesday I have my pre-op class. It's getting here finally! Good luck to everyone it's an exciting time for us all Summer
