Question for the ladies... Were u asked to take of you acrylic nails before surgery... Or no nail polish? Just curious.. Thanks

I know I've posted this before.. But I got approved y'all!!! My husband and family are very supportive (the ones I've told) but they don't get it..they don't get why I am so happy and cannot stop talking about it.. Its hard getting approved... Its a lot of work and I did it. Omg!!!! March 4th I meet my surgeon and schedule surgery... I'm looking at April Surgery. I'm so happy!!!! Besides giving birth to my twins and getting married..This is the best feeling ever!! Sorry y'all.. I'm just to excited.... I am going to be summertime fine in NYC this year ????

So I was following this guy on Instagram.. Not anymore.. He lost 200 lbs.. According to him the hard way.. And even tho he didn't have surgery he was an inspiration.. I like his workouts etc... Well he posted a pic of a before and after.. And the caption read " hard work.. No surgeries.. No easy way" WHAT? Getting cut open and having ur insides rearrange easy? Learning how to eat all over again... Easy? Let's not even get into getting approved.. My husband gave me the easy way out speech and I flipped on him and now he's a cheerleader... I will not let anyone minimize my hard work.. Mind you I haven't had surgery yet.. But beware!!! I will flip on you!! Politely of course ????

Depending how much time ur taking off. U get one check monthly. I can take upton6 months off and aflac will pay me for the 6 months.. I think 75 percent your monthly income.

I have short disability with them..when u find out the day of our surgery u fill out paper work fax it to them.. Wls is covered .. But u have to fax them the paper work after surgery.... Reallybeady process . 3 forms.. U fill one out. Ur employer fills one and ur surgeon fills out the other

I'm also taking a month off from work . maybe 6 weeks.. Thank God for aflac!!

It is not easy at all.. I can only imagine after surgery... My surgery is scheduled for 4/29.. Yayyyy.. But I'm not going to let anyone make me feel any type of way! Ur damned if u do and ur damned if u don't.. Even if it was easy.. It's my life I do as I please with it!

So after months of appts and weigh ins and back and forth and back and forth.. I was approved ..yay for me right. Now I'm scared .. Not of surgery its self. Not of the pain but I'm scared. I've always been fat. Like idk anything else...why is that so scary to me????

I haven't had surgery yet but I was approved by insurance.. Looking for ppl in nyc.. We can help each other .. Make new friends.. Go shopping etc...

I am so excited.. Insurance approved my surgery. Gotta go see my surgeon and schedule my bypass.. It was a long road to get to this point but it was so worth it..Bring on the hard work cuz I'm ready!!!!

I live in NYC. Going up those stairs in the train station are a killer!! Can't wait to walk up without huffing and puffing.. I can't wait to be summer time fine and I want my husband to be able to carry me!! I know weird lol

I did my 6 month supervised diet..I did all test required... Got all my clearance.. Today was my last appt.... Now I wait.. I'm hoping with Gods help I get approved quckly.. I'm hoping for a week .. I have health fist.. I am so proud of myself.. These last 6 months were hard.. But I did it!!! I am going to be summertime fine lol

What do you mix your protein powder with? Milk?? Almond milk.. Soy.. Water???

Next week I have my endoscopy and I am scared!!! They will sedate me but I'm still scared...ughh I'm half way there and I can't look back now.. I sure won't but I'm def scared

Finally had my endoscopy. . It was a breeze.. idk why I was scared... best sleep on a long time... 3 more weigh ins and I'm all done.. then it's the waiting game....

It was easier than I thought.. I was so anxious before.. I was totally asleep.. one minute we are taking about scandal next minute I'm waking up and it's over...I had a sore throat next day..nothing serious and it only last a few hrs..

Ain't it worth it tho.. they give u all ur referrals day of ur first appt.. u get all ur appts at the hospital or affiliates. . I love it there.. I was born in that hospital..

U can email them instead of having to call.. shows u all ur appts and stuff.. when I go there tell them to email u an invite.. shows u all ur records and everything.. yes i live in Manhattan .walking distance from the hospital
