  1. First Christmas, since surgery on July 29th. I was not even hungry. I've never felt so free from overwhelming urge to devour sweets. I'm excited.

  6. I had wls on 7.28 I'm down 20 pounds since surgery 42 altogether. I'm struggling with the thick protein shakes I once loved. I switched back to the fruit ones but I'm not hitting my protein goal with shakes alone. I need to keep better track with my fitness pal because sometimes I'm not sure I got enough protein in for the day. I miss the ease of the shakes, but its all good.

  10. One more potluck and I'll scream! I'm 6 weeks post op and I get tired of eating with others. I'm not hungry for their food but I get lonely eating my shakes or taking baby bites in public. I keep getting sick when I eat with others. Any suggestions?
  11. I had some similar issues I ate too much of a variety of foods too quickly, take it back to liquids and soft foods for a few days. Tell yourself you need to eat so you won't be scared, but choose your foods wisely so you won't be sick. Don't give up you'll find the rt menu for your new tummy.
  12. Mentee I'm 5 weeks post up and I struggle with getting my 2 shakes a day in, my meds, and my vitamins. I can't guzzle water to get my pills down and sometimes the crushed pill s make me nauseous. I'm scared I'm doing it all wrong.
  13. How much protein are you able to get in?
  14. I feel good, but if I don't get enough protein and eater I feel tired and sad. I'm making a bigger effort to exercise, but the return to work was more stressful than anticipated. Still struggling with feeling blue due to the loss of energy. I was an exercise but before surgery. I'm three weeks in and grateful but tired.
  15. Wow you have improved so much. God bless you.
  16. Way to go. How are you sticking to it? What's your motivation?
  17. How are you getting all the protein in so quickly without getting gassy?
  18. I'm two weeks and I am not getting enough Water. I can't get it down without burping a lot. How do you get all your water in? I miss guzzling it.
