    OCTOBER 2014

Hey all! It looks like I have a ton of reading to do! I missed checking in but I spent the last few weeks virtually technology free traveling Germany and Paris. It was amazing to disconnect outside of talking with my kids. You don't realize how being busy affects your success until you actually relax. I'm happy everyone is moving forward. I'm pretty content with where I'm at. Started at 248 - currently 159. I'm sitting comfortably in a 10/12 but can fit into a 8! Amazing! I think I have some more to go but if I don't get there I'm happy still. I can't believe I was so heavy for so long. Hiking was amazing in the Alps and I actually could do it without dying! Best part is I got used to walking everywhere and completing 10-20 miles per day that it's nothing to complete my exercise goals back at home. Thought I'd post some progress photos too. Looking forward to catching up ❤

Well my biggest concern has come to reality....moving. I'm very terrified to be leaving my surgeons area. I'm hoping nothing ever happens where I need him after I move. The fun part is I'm moving to Hawaii and I'll be comfortable in a bathing suit after so many years of being heavy. My weight loss is virtually non existent now. Doing what I'm supposed to but I continuously fluctuate the same 5 lbs. I knew it was a possibility to stop before goal but you know what ? I'm so happy being 169 that it doesn't bother me. Toning up is my goal now and maybe I'll lose again. Glad everyone is still moving forward ❤️

It's so funny you ended on the note. I was just thinking...I feel like my success is some weird joke sometimes. Like it's just all going to reappear over night. Congrats on onderland, it's an amazing feeling!

    OCTOBER 2014

Hair loss hasn't been noticeable after the haircut so win! I'm usually around 700 calories but I do beach body programs as well. I was ordered to hit around 65-70 grams of protein and 1000-1200 cals a day. We will see what happens. My workout regime is prob the reason for increase but I'll adapt to keep it up ❤️ I wanted to wait on the lift/reduction as well...my bariatric dr would like me to wait but considering my massive breakdown of skin from working out its going to get done early. Under my right breast I've had staph infections twice and bleeding from the sweating and hanging of skin. Tmi I know but I think everyone should look out for these issues. And to answer your question no. I am not getting any kind of implant. They are using my own tissue and molding it to create upper pole fullness. Implants are usually suggested if you want youthful fullness and be able to go bra free. A lift is sufficient as long as you are good relying on a push up bra ???? I didn't want foreign objects either.

    OCTOBER 2014

Hey all! I had my 6 month check up today so now I'm anxiously waiting for my blood work. I am too frustrated at 177/178 - amylyns we are always twins. My dr said I'm not eating enough so I'm hoping upping my calories (again) will get the loss going. I haven't checked in too much lately due to tons of traveling. It was glorious to be in a packed plane one after another and still be comfortable - I'm so thankful for that. My hair loss kept going so I chopped it all off and went platinum. Perfect now - thank goodness just in time for my Germany trip in May. Also I'm getting a lift/reduction in June!! So much happening in such a small time has made this waiting game bearable. Looking forward to seeing more success from my friends here!

Hi ladies! I third the breast lift thing...but I'm actually moving forward with that now. Friday I have a plastics consultation I'm pretty excited about. I'm a 36G now and it's a terrible sight bc mine are pure tissue so they just hang lower and give me horrid back pain. Praying for lift and reduction. I'll fill everyone in on how that goes. Then after a year mark I'll be talking about a tummy tuck. Time is moving fast. 25 lbs away from goal of 150!

Beni - at 6 months the average bypass patient should have lost 40% of their excess weight. I made my dr give me a ton of medical documents for statistics, I'm a nerd like that ????
