twistedbarbieLA got a reaction from SlimDreams in Back to basics and really doing it!
Down almost 20 lbs! I'm doing pretty well and mostly finding it fairly easy to keep my calories low, but I could do better with evening out my food throughout the day.

Right? And now I have to switch antibiotics because this one has given me Migraines where I lose my vision twice in two days.

I should have been able to finish the cycle and the doctor was fine with it but one of my ovaries follicles got totally out of sync with the other so we had to stop. Nice waste of money. We're only freezing now. I had a baby 8 months ago but due to an anatomical weird thing IVF is the only way for me to get pregnant so we wanted to freeze so when we're ready for the next one it's not as stressful.

Checking in for accountability....I gained 6 lbs back (some has to be fluctuation though). I randomly had a raging systemic infection that was horrendously painful and landed me in the hospital, then my back went out AND I was in the middle of doing an IVF cycle to freeze embryos.

    Back on track today.

Awww, come on guys, I escape my bitchy household into the relative tranquility of BP, and I get this? Sigh...

Also, I work in addiction. You know the first indicator I see when I know someone is going to relapse?
They swear they are NEVER going back to drugs or alcohol.
They don't have enough insight to understand that absolutes and extremes just don't work in the real world with real world challenges. They get blindsided when they happen and deal with them the only way they know how....resorting back to their old self destructive behaviors.
The more successful clients understand that although they can't promise they won't ever go back, they will work their programs the best they can, use the tools they've been given and deal with the challenges they know will happen as they come in order to be successful. They don't assume to know it all, either.

Thanks. If I weren't doing another surgery, I would probably just leave the band in. It's annoying, but not worth the surgery just to remove.

I was looking for a fill doctor for a possible next fill if I need it. I have pretty decent restriction, but wanted to have someone in my phone to call if needed.
I had my fill on the 29th. I am eating right around 1000 a day. I could probably eat more, like I said, but I'm not. I just worry that at some point, the "being able to" might get to me, but that's not relevent to the moment.
I do know that I need to be exercising more and I am working towards that. It just seems like 2 lbs a week should be reasonable with a deficit like this without much else.
The first time around, I lose 3-5 lbs a week - fairly easily until the very end where I was getting off the last few lbs. Is it just this different? My weight keeps going up and down and up and down and by the end of the week, it's less than a lb. The ups and downs have to be Water because my food isn't that different on those days.
Is it possible my body is just a bit shocked and at some point I'll see a random difference on the scale after it adjusts?
