I just had the iBand placed 07/24/2014. Are there anymore like me out there? I am a 28 year old female. I am 4'11" my BMI was 33.5 My pre op diet weight was 172. My surgery day weight was 168. Today I am 6 days post op and I am at 165. Am I on this journey alone?

Get the chewable gas x cherry flavor. I get the cvs kind. They are stronger. I take two and they work like a charm. The strips did nothing for me! -

So I know they said don't remove the steri strips until they fall off... However my port site was burning so bad and I checked it yesterday and it was ready so I took off the strip and had immediate relief! I think the adhesive was irritating my skin. The incision looks great just the skin around it is red. It was much better this morning. No discomfort today. How are you feeling? -

Thank you so much! The heating pad has been amazing!! The pain has decrease the past two days and I am sooo thankful! I am one week post today and have only lost 2lbs I thought with such few calories it would be way more. Any thoughts? How often do you all weigh yourselves. I've been doing daily and it's really getting me down. -

@nerms-how are you feeling? I am one week post today and my shoulder pain is much improved, but my weight loss has only been 2lbs since surgery.. I know they say expect 1-3lbs per week so I am on track but with as little as I eat I figured it would be waaayy more. I have been weighing everyday and I think that is doing more damage than good. I think maybe I should only weigh on Thursdays. Any thoughts? -

I got the iBand 7/24 I am 6days post op. I feel full VERY quickly. I am used to eating large amounts of food so I really have to listen to my body when it says hey no more!! My left shoulder hurts when I over do it. Actually my left shoulder hurts ALL the time. Does anyone else have this? -

I have terrible left shoulder pain when I am too hungry, when I try to burp, or when I try to take a deep breath in. I can control it with gas x chewables so far. My left side is sore and itchy but other than that I'm great! Already back to work. I lost 5lbs during pre op diet and 3lbs since surgery. How about you? -
