Lost inches this week. No weight change: 128

Like you, @@Rogofulm, I've been adding nuts. Also, all kinds of dried fruit--lots of flavor and nutrients! And the combo is great for pre- and post-workouts.

I'm in! My goal is 118. Thanks for the Challenges! ❤❤❤

128 today. Been trying a new training machine this week: elliptical. Love the workout! Kept a 6:30 pace yesterday. And have been hitting the weight machines with my husband.
Happy Holidays, all! ⛄⛄

How the heck do you guys exercise?! By the time I get home from work and night class, I basically collapse on the bed?! No energy!
I am super fortunate in that there is a Jazzercise studio a block away from my office and classes are offered at 11am and noon.

I honestly have not strayed from my surgeon and NUT's instructions regarding food and drink, I've not consumed any carbs other than some green veggies and some fruit (mostly bananas and apples), no sugar, no alcohol, no bread, etc., I take Vitamins, omega-3 and calcium chews daily, I Jazzercise 5-6 times per week (including 2 strength training Jazzercise classes) and walk 5 miles 1-2 days per week. I snack mostly on turkey Jerky and WW string cheese.< /p>

Good grief, Freebird! You've lost 70 pounds!
How in the world have you done that????

Hi August Sleevers-
Everything's been going great--especially the past month. Weight loss has been steady, but is now picking up speed (strength training the past two months is really showing some major toning results, too). For me, it appears the "magic" combo is VSG surgery and Jazzercise!
Highest weight: 200
Surgery weight: 196 (August 13th)
Current weight: 130
Goal weight: 120
Congrats to everyone's progress!

No alcohol since July 4th. No processed foods, carbs (except for a spoonful here and there of veggies and fruit), soda, sugar for 3 months.
It's weird and wacky, but I LOVE MY SLEEVE! :-)

I attend lunchtime Jazzercise classes (cardio and strength training) weekdays, 5-mile early morning walks plus yard work and/or house cleaning on weekends.

I was sleeved by Dr. Lopez in Puerto Vallarta on August 13th. Cathy was my contact at Specialized Bariatrics. Cathy was WONDERFUL to deal with prior to my surgery (which I scheduled in April of this year), then AnnaKaren in PV, the nurses at the hospital and of course Dr. Lopez and his team. I was SO NERVOUS about going to Mexico, but everything went according to plan AND I was able to enjoy some of Mexico with my sister for a few days at a really lovely Marriott. I am almost 3 months out, have lost 56 lbs., lots of inches and have never felt better, healthier and more positive.
Fruit....

I eat at least 3 servings of fruit a day. I do get my Protein first, but Greek yogurt and an apple after a workout is the best! I also eat a lot of dried fruit--peaches, apricots, figs, plums.
My weight-loss has not stalled since surgery this past August. Eight months out and going strong!
