Is WLS the easy way out or the only way out?
WLS has added time/quality for both my husband and I. We don't give a care if someone thinks we cheated! We are getting healthy and headed to the gym!'

I am a cheap date! NSV
My refrigerator is a graveyard of leftover meals. Every weekend my husband and I go out for dinner. We are both sleeved! We order no carb and high protein meals! Over the last eight months we have had leftovers every time. This has been a new experience for us. Sometimes we even split a meal. I can't bear to clean out the refrigerator and waste food. Therefore, it has become my husband's job to discard our take-home boxes! Getting skinny is a family affair.

Fell off the wagon
I went through a time when I ate Cheetos for a several weeks! Then I got depressed. Then I got mad stopped and started over. Back on track and headed to goal. I know that this is a journey and I not perfect! However, this tool is gift and has to be used appropriately. I'm on a journey of a lifetime.

You know you lost weight when
When you jump out the car and the pants that used to be snug hit the ground. Then you left in your underwear and you are afraid that that might fall next. lol

Cardiologist issues ????
It just a part of getting you healthy! The test will show whatever they show. It provides a baseline to work from. I just completed the these test again after surgery. I have increased my odds of having a healthy life despite my genes! Good luck to you!

Discouraged/Sad
Sometimes we just have to remember that being fat did not happen overnight. I am nine months out and working towards goal. This is not a miracle cure it is lifestyle change. Keep trying and keep moving and you'll make your goal don't give up on you! I am officially 184 pounds and my goal is around 145 and I started at 269. Keep it moving and best of luck.

Dumping and sleeve
I have experienced it with a piece of deep fried fish. Within 30 minutes I started feeling dizzy, sweating and nauseous. It was horrible and scary. I will be eight months sleeved 4/1. I also had greasy French fries. Never again! I still don't always make the perfect choices. However I never want to feel like that again! My sleeve and I are still getting to know another! SW: 269, CW: 186, GW: 140.

Do you miss anything about being fat?
Sometimes I miss saying "I am fat anyway so I might as well...." I haven't reach my total weight loss goal at six months sleeved. However I am still moving forward.

Gaining weight back
For me being sleeved has saved my life . I was headed down towards an early death. Yep I had lost weight on diets and gain it back plus. Being sleeved is giving me a chance to take control of my eating habits. This takes work but it is worth the effort. I am not at goal but I am keeping it moving.

Does the weight loss look differently post WLS?
It is a big difference for me from 269to190. I am 5'6" and I look longer/smaller. My goal is between 140 to 150. I will be at six months sleeved on 2/1. I always have to work on my body image. I can not let myself see that same 269lbs woman in the mirror every morning. My distorted body image is one of the reasons after weight loss I gain everything thing back. I know this is a long hard fight in my case.
