That's odd. I would definitely look into it. I've only heard of the comorbidity requirement with a 40 or less BMI as well. -

I have four girls and gained a lot of weight but always lost it all. A few years ago I started having thyroid issues and gained a lot of weight quickly! Ended up being thyroid cancer and it was removed in 2012. Although I'm on hormone replacement I've continued to gain. Now that I'm in my 40s, it's only gotten worse. It's very traumatic to never have a weight problem and suddenly be fat! I'm ready to get my old life back!! -
I did receive approval and surgery on Dec 30th. Only took a few days!

I'm Dec 30th as well and it's kinda weird to bring in the New Year that way, but also very appropriate. Start out 2015 on a good note! How long is your liquid diet? Mine is 1 week. -
